Who said he did?!

I dont see any love for him round here...and I doubt there will be, unless he opens up a bit. He seems a nice guy, but just a decoration right now. Same with nathan.

Whenever I read the names Dave,Nathan,or Steve it takes me a little while to remember which ones they are, wheras Rachael,JJ,Corin,Ben,Shabby etc are instant.

Mario has become very blah too.Had high hopes for him when he was Moley,he's just become a wet limpet, stuck to Ben for dear life now.

His snoring is keeping them up some nights, I love him for that, as on the nights I can't sleep I've got housemates to watch :D

Steve seems like a really cool guy and i can see why most dont want him gone even though he does snore but he hasnt done anything much to get a bunch of fans on his side to be a contender. some people just need time as well.

Nobody deserves to win anything at this time. Nobody.
Having said that,
Steve has actually been part of one of the most powerful moments in this and maybe any series.
It had a profound effect on those around him. It wasn't just a 'moment' but many moments. It was inspirational and difficult and tragic and even infuriating.

Steve's snoring is unintentionally causing aggravation and short tempers for a few. Steve is the new Belinda. It really is a significant thing.

Steve is a key figure in this. He is the 'Father Figure' and this is a HM who is stable and consistent 'anchor' type HM.
You can say the anchor is a boring thing but its there for a reason and without it you lose contrast and measure.

Besides.. Steve might have the best quote of the season already:
"Nah, I never had problems with PTSD... ...well, not yet"

sadly the intelligence of some of the people you are trying to convince doesnt warrant the effort the people that say these things just want to see performing monkeys at the circus and would probably be better suiited to sticking to watching the tellytubbies or chuckle brothers or the x factor.
the concept of social experiment and interaction sounds like something from star trek to some of the numptys that frequent here and they are pretty much responsible for the decline of big brother to the state that we see it in now.
ive pretty much given up on it ever recovering now and just follow it for the rare times that scenes of any relevance to society do appear. some people are clearly still trying to give us a show of relevance but they are fighting against the tide of ******* screaming FIGHT,SHAG,ACT UP TO THE CAMERAS OR ITS BORIN MAN DUHHH

Yes but for some reason I keep carrying on like I think it will experience a renewal and return to the intriguing sociological and psychological experiment it once was.. and be appreciated for it.

In the back of my mind I know its over and relieved this is the last season.

he's very boring so far, but a nice guy.

i agree though, it's so unfair if he does win, he's not adding anything to the house from what i've seen of him.

Yeah but what if he starts bitching about how someone said he was fat and then he said one of them was fat!?
Then he might deserve to win?

Steve is a really nice guy, you'd think what's happened to him would have put him down and made him miserable, but he's looking at the bright side of things and is really nice and genuine. It takes bravery to be like that, especially after what's happened to him.

I think he should stay there for a long time, I can't see why people would vote for him already. It's only been a few days, he'll probably do more stuff when he gets more comfortable in the house.

I think Steve and a few of the others like Nathan, are playing the long game. Perhaps not intentionally but I think they are taking a step back and letting all the hot heads get themselves evicted and then they will come to the fore.

Steve has by virtue of his age and what he has been through, more life experience and I am sure once he has the space to voice his opinions he will do so. I just feel that with Shabby et al, running around the place people like Steve are just taking a step back and letting them get on with it.

I agree that because of the last five years or so unless there are people with extreme personalities or views voicing them loudly or demonstrating very unsociable demeanours it is considered not worth watching.

My favourite moments of all the BB series are the quiet ones with people who dont normally seek the lime-light who come up with devistating one liners or make profound statements. It is no longer a social experiment I have to agree, it is more like a fame lottery however as an avid people watcher I do become addicted every year despite promising myself I wont get into it.

I will shed a tear when it is all over and done!

I think more to the point, he's not bitter at all, which is a brilliant trait to have considering what he's been through. :)

My mate got lost two limbs 3 years ago in a similar situation. Since his injuries he has taken up a new career which will make him a teacher soon. He should be the one in the BB house representing war heros not some fat slob who hasnt done a days work in 20 years. Well he has been busy breeding and decorating himself.

Stop the pity vote. Doesnt deserve to win based on handicap. If he wins let it be based on his personality!

Are you from Ireland or another obsessed teen John hater who has created another new account? Shabby fan maybe?

I have to agree.

other HMs get a lot of stick for being 'boring' but Steve is left suspiciously alone.

I admire his attitude and the work he does, but that shouldnt be a free pass to the finals.

trouble is, the HMs will be scared that they will be hated if they nom him, and if he isnt nomed then we cant voted him out, and that means he will cruise through.

The reason i like Steve is his positivity. My dad has very similar injuries to him and was also in the forces and i applaud anyone how can not play the victim but been through so much. I hope he along with a few other characters gets more air time because i think he has a lot of personality if he was given the chance to show it.

But has he done anything wrong? Everyone is talking about his "injuries". But has he really done anything wrong? Sophie did win last year, and she sure not do anything more than Steve has done. Maybe Sophie did giggle with Rodrigo, but still she was even more boring than Steve.

Nope he hasnt, but I am not sure what he is doing 'right' either... apart from turning up.

just by being there, steves a living breathing role model for anyone who has suffered amputations etc. He's showing them that they can do anything just like he can.. thats more than enough to win i reckon.
