Well no-one else has complained. it's him being picky. if he doesn't like her - fair enough. that's totally his opinion something that everybody in there is entitled to. but it's fairly obvious he knew he'd upset her by saying that even if it was what he really thought. then trying to get Ben to dislike her aswell... something telling me he's not innocent, sweet and in the right.

but the 2.5 would actually read as 5/2 (how good are you at fractions?)

thats the decimal system they want to replace the fractional system

fractional system is better but the decimal is better for those just dumb with maths.

The number on the left is what you win for betting the number on the right.

10/1 means you bet £1 and win £10 plus your £1 bet back
1/10 means you bet £10 and win £1 plus your £10 bet back


Betting odds are based on outcome eventuality, but also based on how many people back something (i.e. people may bet on something for no reason and the odds lower).

I think what has happenned is a combination between:
People have seen Shabby at 3/5 and Rachel at 12/1 and taken a value bet (less likely to occur, but the difference in odds means its worth the gamble).

And Rachel acting like a dick in live feed.

because she bases her entire life on how people look at her, she needs that affirmation to feel wanted/accepted. Thus leading to her judging other people on similiar levels.

John is saying that this isnt the way to be, and that it does make her a bad person for being superficial.

it wouldnt matter if other people complained because they wouldnt matter to racheal because they aren't in her eyes a beautiful person, so their views won't be considered the same.

As its coming from John, a peer, its shocking to her, because it will force her to think outside what she normally does.

Telling Ben to be careful is purely because she will not have the time of day for him because Ben doesnt fit in with her conception of image, which is, in my view entirely accurate.

Hes just saying dont get mixed up with her as she will use him to her advantage.

The reason she likes him, despite this, is only because he conforms with her ideals - just doenst think them like she does - this is why its so confusing for her, as she can't think outside the box, or chooses not to.
