Why do the interesting people always seem to get voted out? It seems to me that the people who are most controversial get voted out rather than the people that are boring.
I think if Big Brother changed things so that the public vote for the person they want to *keep in* it would fix this. This way the person who is most boring will be more likely to go out.

We've had this debate many times.
It does work for example it got rid of Hira last year however the whole point of 'vote to EVICT' Is unique to Big Brother and has been for 11 years, theres no point in changing it now.
But I am sure they will do a Vote to Save week one or two times this series.
But it was the most boring and least entertaining, or interesting person who got voted out, the voting public got it right this time for a change.
Rachael was not entertaining at all, her face and voice was not a pleasure to watch and listen to.

Sorry for raising an old topic.
...but I disagree that "theres no point in changing it now". If something is broken, it's never too late to fix it.
Entertainment is much more important than the 'vote to evict' process.

The awfuls get nominated by HMs then the public decide who they hate most and punt them out. If you don't like the format OP, then watch another reality show

Maybe I'm wrong, but surely Sunshine was the most boring - she's done nothing. Plus the Rachel/John James thing would have been more interesting to watch.

I just think that voter votes to get who pisses them off the most out of the house. Some probably feel that wasting a vote on a boring housemate isn't really worth it.
Comments from Rachel that she was genuinely surprised that no one in the house fancies her didn't help at all.

Exactly! That's what I'm saying. If you flip the voting system so that the public votes for the person they want to keep in, then people will not waste their vote on someone who is boring.
The problem is, people vote for people they dislike not people who are boring.
Not many people liked Rachel, but she probably had as many fans as she had enemies. That was proved by the reception she got when she left the house (the public voted her out but everyone in the crowd was cheering her).

Sorry, I misread your original point. Now you've (had to:blush2:) explained it to me, I agree with you. TBH I never really gave it any thought before.
I'm guessing it's too late in the show now to change things, as most people could potentially complain by saying BB had changed the format, and there vote was to evict.
Shame really, because I think you could be on to a winner here.
