Thats why then. Up there you get more light for longer. I live in north-east London and how it looked on the telly was pretty much on par with how bright it was outside. My Mum lives in Dublin and in the summer it doesn't get dark for her until at least a half hour after it gets dark for me lol.

No, it was cut for 2HOURS 9PM real time (8.45 PM BB time) so if you paid the assholes for live feed and had no access to a tv then you were **** out of luck as far as the eviction was concerned.

If the eviction had a 30 minute delay, then how...
...did the live Internet coverage go 'live straight away' after the Channel 4 show ended...with NO gaps????:conf:

Within about 1 minute after the credits rolled it was back, as they like to call it, "live" with the usual 15 min delay so you saw NOTHING!! :joker:
Oh, and they had cut the power early on so that the HMs had no clock and I guess that was feckin' deliberate too.

If the intention is to cut the "live feed" for EVERY eviction then they ought to refund any monies that have been paid to them for access, they are NOT fulfilling their part of the contract!
OFCOM are you watching????

Didn't you read the bit in the T&C's about them cutting the live feed whenever they feel necessary?

Nope, but it's obvious that that CYA clause was put in because they knew that they were conning the public! :wavey:

Please quote accurately "whenever they feel necessary" is NOT the same as "during evictions" :joker:

And because it is in there it is most likely you don't have a leg to stand on.
Look back at previous BB live feeds on eviction nights. These were cut too and simply put on a loop.

I didn't quote anything.
Evictions are not the only event it is limited to. I'd imagine it could include a few other things too.
Are the betting lines open right up until eviction ?

i think it wasnt "live" becasue of the world cup, so they didnt have any gap inbetween the 2 shows... thats the difference

What are you on about?
I changed what I had originally put down because I knew that the cut of the live feed wasn't restricted to just the evictions. My original post only mentioned evicitions.
I thought I would expand on it a bit so that people that hadn't read the T&C's would know that they can choose to cut the feed when they choose to.

there probably a 5 or 10 min delay if any!

Just about nothing on TV is actually live nowadays there is at least a 5 minute delay between the live event and its transmission, this is to allow for editors to bleep out any offending/illegal comments.
And just because they call it live feed online doesnt mean to say it isnt screened and checked before it goes live online.

Unless, of course, they take the easy way out and just censor the 15 minute delayed broadcast!

Because what Davina says is scripted and was processed on a script reader. They could of just took at the estimate at the time of the football when it was filmed.
Big Brother shows have not been live since the race row.

Get over it.
So what? You missed 30 minutes of live feed?!
And might I add, you had the main show to watch at that time anyways?!
