Just setting up for this evening. I'm sure we are in for some entertainment, even if it's not from the actual finalists! Louis' extra security will be interesting!

Nothing against her, just have a feeling it will be her. Not a good choice of song imo.

The Conways-4/10 totally awful in most parts, song far too big for them.
Andy-9/10 I love the song and he sang it brilliantly.
Nicholas-6/10 It was good in parts and bad in parts.
Journey South-7/10 I thought they were good but it's such an over used song.
Brenda-6/10 She sang it pretty well but it was a poor song choice imo
Shane-9/10 It was an ideal song choice and I think he did a great job.
Chico-7/10 Just for the entertainment factor.

I thought everyone performed moderately well except for the Conways who are an embarrasment to music, and Chico who, although was entertaining, is missing the point of the show. Andy stood out for me.

I can't believe The Conways stayed. In the 2nd time performances Nicholas was much better and The Conways went off key on a number of occasions.

I don't get why their called the Conway Sisters. Surely, they should be called the Conway Sister becasue only one of them actually sings. The rest of them just stand there making a feeble attempt to dance while awfully miming. :bored:

The Conways Talk about playing for sympathy! Not as bad as they have been, but totally cringeworthy.
Andy Wonderful. He did justice to a beautiful song.
Nicholas B-o-r-i-n-g. And I do really like that song as well, but I didn't think he performed well, and he deserved to be in the bottom two.
Journey South I thought they sounded great, but am I the only one who sees a touch of desperation in their performance? They really do have talent, but they honestly seem so desperate, it makes me cringe. Still, I'm glad they stayed; I honestly think they are one of the most talented acts left.
Brenda I didn't know the song, but I felt like I was in some sort of 70's disco or something. Didn't like the song, but I think she performed it very well.
Shane Like last week, he did a great performance, but it left me cold. Boring (but not as boring as Nicholas)!
Chico It was as cheesy as anything, and I have visions of him doing a 'Cheeky Girls' and having a big hit with it (please, no)! It's the sort of thing that I normally cannot stand, but I have to admit - I loved it!!

Last night was the worst week of the series for me.

Conway Sisters They were awful, but so were most of the other acts last night, too. They didn't deserve to be in the bottom two this week at all.
Andy Awful song, and a performance dripping with oil. He may as well have gone all the way and performed lying on his back in a giant sardine can. The fact that he has a great voice is becoming secondary to his total lack of charisma more and more as the weeks go by.
Nicholas He's been poor all through the series, highlighting the massive mistake Louis made in putting him through to the finals in the first place. Trevor was a far better option, and would still be there now if Louis hadn't picked only male acts he finds cute. Second worst act on the night, but he won't be missed at all.
Journey South I missed their performance, but based on the clip at the end, not as bad as I'd expected them to be.
Brenda Terrible song, terrible performance. Her 'dancing' was desperate and embarrassing. She just isn't good enough for this show.
Shayne I like him, but this wasn't good at all. I'd sooner hear the original, which is quite something as I despise the sound of Gary Barlow's turgid voice, and consider Take That a nadir in the history of British pop. He needs to really raise his game, even though he's going to win this year easily.
Chico Each week, I think he can't get any worse. Yet each week, he proves me wrong. Dire, and a huge insult to those that were rejected from Sharon's final seven at his expense. The worst act by a massive margin this week, and the fact that he'll still be there next Saturday night is a total travesty.

Conway Sisters Absolutely appalling. It was their best performance on the show so far, and still it was appalling! Sharon has just lost her last chance to kick them out. They wont be up against Shayne, and no matter who else they are up against, Loui will keep them in.
Andy Is there a market for his voice? I think so. But not in the mainstream charts, which means that he really ought not to win, but he ought to get a record deal from someone.
Nicholas I can't believe how cr4p he has become. He showed so much promise back when he sung "Let's get it on", and now he is just flat (to use Simon's description). I think Louis has ruined the boy by giving him songs which are so outdated. He is only 19 ferchrissake!
Journey South I like them, but I do agree with Ruth. They do seem too desperate, which is a tad off-putting. Angels has been overdone, and nobody does it like Robbie, so maybe not the best song choice.
Brenda I wish they would give Brenda something a bit more mainstream so that we can actually judge her. I find it difficult to judge someone singing a song I have never heard.
Shayne This song is cr4p. It was cr4p by Take That, and it was cr4p again when Shayne sung it. He puts no effort into it at all. Despite his 'so-called nerves', he reckons the competition is in the bag. That's my opinion anyway. He is a good looking guy, but that's it really. His voice is average. He would be better off modelling Calvin Klein underpants. That would suit his obviously limited talent.
Chico Oh dear. Chico Time? Cheeky Girls? Teletubbies? Mr Blobby? Bob the Builder? Crazy Frog? Christmas #1 anyone?
