Good old Jonny!

After a quiet week, in which I would say that Alex gained a bit of ground back on him, Jonny was at his best on the C4 highlights tonight.

First, he was the only housemate to worry about Jade when she is crying in the bedroom. He was sympathetic, whilst being blunt about her faults, but made it clear that she could talk to him and cheered her up. He had more reasons to get stroppy with her than PJ, but he has a good nature, and always sees the best in people.

Then, after Kate won the prize for the master/servant task, he "punished" her for winning by picking her up, and throwing her into the pool!

I'm really torn between Jonny and Kate as the winner, but Jonny nosed in front tonight!

I agree with you, Oldgit. I also thought Jonny was very sweet to Jade tonight.

It's not the first time he's been a shoulder for her to cry on, either. He's been a really good friend to her all this week when all the others have been cold-shouldering her.

I realised tonight whilst watching the C4 prog. that Jonny is only about 8 years older than Jade but seems more like 30 years older!!!!!

Yep, Jonny was good tonight. I much prefer him when he's like he was, instead of being legless. Showed he cared about Jade even though he's seen her bad side, he knows she must have good side. Good on yea Jonny.:elephant::dance:

Jonny is not a bad guy, I could never figure out why some people didn't like him. He's not done anything that bad :conf:

The way that Jonny supported Jade showed great maturity and forgiveness, I mean him more than most have reasons to dislike her but he is a grown up and able to act like one. It is really nice to see Jonny back to his bouncy, Jolly, happy self again, don't you think.

I thought Jonny came across great last night when he spoke to Jade! I just hope he can keep going as he seems to be Jade's sounding board at the moment which must be quite wearing.

I felt his kind words and actions last night were the sort of things that could swing the public in his favour and end up with him winning the show - but I don't think that's the reason that he did it, he is just genuinely nice.

I think Jonny is a top bloke!:thumbs:
He is kind hearted and genuine and funny.
Alex is hilarious, there is no getting away from it and so is Kate but Jonny is just such a nice lad!
People say that he shouldnt win cos he hasnt done anything special but why should he have to do something special, he is just generally a really really nice guy, hes normal!:spin2::colour::spin2:

Jade needs a friend at the moment and Jonny is being just that.
He probably remembers and appreciates how she helped him out of his blues with the information she gave him about the others claiming he performs for the cameras.

I was disappointed in Alex the way he is now impatient with Jade even though all she wanted to talk about was his geographical experiences. I think she just wanted to try and learn. But when her back was turned he showed such rude frustration about having to talk to her.

Alex and Tim complain about Jades gossiping and yet they are doing exactly the same thing. :spin2:

Jonny was great tonight letting Tim have the phone call, though I don't think Tim deserved it. The way he treats Jonny behind his back is terrible. Jonny's not going to be very happy when he sees how Tim has treated him when he talks to Alex and what he says in the DR. Really not nice, Tim! :nono:

I just hope Tim remembers what Jonny did for him tonight and starts treating him with more respect.
