View Full Version : WOW - Now thats what I call Snow!!
bloody hell, as from the other topic I made telling you about the snow predicted, you must know that it was gonna snow down my part of the world, and when i say snow i really REALLY mean it, i swear it was like the French Alps, my school was closed half-way through the day because tha heavy snow only fell at like noon. We had 8 inches in 3 hours!!
why Plymouth? it never snows down here, the last time i remember snow like this i was like in year 5 of primary school what a class day its been, i would've posted some pics but i didnt take any i was too busy enjoying it, if you wanna know how good/bad it was watch the national news,
shame it didnt come early enough to miss double french this morning though :bored:
but anyway what a wicked day, and what a great start to the weekend!!! :spin:
Trust me theres ALOT more to come.
i damn well hope so, but do you think the south-west will get anymore? i can assure you that this is very very rare :conf:

I saw Plymouth on the telly this afternoon, funnily enough, and I thought of you! HaHa!!! You think I spend too much time at TiBB?
So, yeah, anyway, there was footage on the news showing how much snow you have. It's great!!!
At the moment we havent had any snow, its expected to come over night though.

Be careful what you wish for - for you may get it :nono:
I remember how people love the idea of a "White Christmas", but when it happened the snow and ice cut all the power lines, so people could not even cook a Christmas dinner until the new year, when the engineers could get out.
Up here in Newcastle, where they kept giving us alerts of metres high snow drifts coming upon us.....
It has been raining in Newcastle and is quite mild.
Frozen North
I think Not :nono:
If people up here were caught by a flake of snow, as the South has, would there be as much coverage on the news?
