Having just watched last nights highlights on Channel 4 on demand, I cannot believe that poor old Ben (yet again) got the brunt of the opprobrium.

The guilt and shame was clear on the faces of JJ scabby the bint and Govan; Yet, Ben is the one who had to account for himself. Another observation is the wishy washy way Ben defended himself. He had a golden opportunity to assert his extreme disapointment regarding the obvious carve up in plans to nominate him the following week, to express his feellings of betrayal from JJ.

Instead he makes a complete cock-up of trying to justify why he nominated Sunshine, thereby giving JJ the opportunity to take the moral highground ffs.

I still llike him but am so dismayed that he has to feel that it's his responsibility to take the blame for everything. I also cannot understand why his "friends" thought it appropriate to dwell on what so many of them had also done in nominating Sunshine, choosing not to hear Ben stating that when he nominated her, they were not friends, as they were in the second week.

At least we were spared scabby gob****e extemporising on her views regarding Ben, as she at least had the good grace not to go there.

Ben needs to wake up and smell the roses, as Mario advised him, he doesn't need their approval, he needs to stop being led into situations where he says more than he should and be sharper and more assertive in defending himself.

Blimey!!!!!! Opprobrium, extemporising? You must be new? We like to keep it shallow for the kids. They'll all be home from school soon.

On topic, I totally agree with you. Ben playing the martyr will not gain him any grace with the like of Scabby and the other HM's. If anything they'll view it as a sign of weakness.

Ben isn't doing himself any favours but I feel he is being ground down now and won't fight back.

And his so-called friends jump on the bandwaggon especially that thickasPigsh!t frowning in bewilderment Aussie and the false prophet (actually backstabber) St. Dave of Pontypridd. Forget Scumshine, she just loves being the centre of controversy.

Ben is getting the same kind of treatment that Freddie got last year. It's because of his background and the fact that he's everything they're not: educated, well-mannered and classy. If someone were being picked on because they were a chav, people would be up in arms, but because the venom is going up the social scale instead of down it's apparenlty acceptable.

I also add BB in this for never really punishing Scabby and her mates but go big time on Ben. It's disgusting to watch and reminds me of what poor Freddie went through last year, the more they attacked him the more popular he became. Have the dimwhits in the house this year attacking and stabbing Ben in the back not seen last year's show????

I think it's more because he can't stand up for himself, he's an easy target . Also the instigators probably feel Ben's boos on the first night reflect public opinion therefore they risk nothing by picking on him.

Perhaps... which means they learned nothing from Freddie's ordeal last year. He was nominated week after week but not evicted.

Actually the HL show was edited down to crap all, the actual LF was excruciatingly vindictive and totally over the top.

Scabby was in the bath with her lady love enjoying NOT being blamed for the Budget fiasco.

Yup, Scabby just guaranteed Gollum's departure by putting Mario up, had she chosen Scumshine it could have split the vote!:joker:

PMSL,so true that first line, they'll never understand they will think you are bitching, lol,I agree too ,Ben is a nice man and not half as vindictive as some make out here,I don't think he knows how to be,the lad has taken some knocks ,I just hope he is saved tonight and it gives him some hope that we are not ALL stupid, jealous, selectively blind or deaf!

Oh I really feel for Ben when everyone's getting at him, he wants to be liked so much and genuinely looks crestfallen when someone is horrible to him. I'm sure he won't go tonight.:elephant:
