I dont get.

The moderator posted that it was 'OBVIOUS' it had been started to cause arguments, but there's a thread in the Serious Debate forum about a kid that wasn't let on a bus because he was wearing an England shirt. My question is, if its 'OBVIOUS' (in capital letters, i might add) the racism thread was started to cause arguments then couldn't the same be said of the other thread?

Not really.

The member who posted the thread, was picking up on tiny little comments from people and turning it round to make them racist. Which is obviously going to cause arguments. Along with the fact that the member in question, starts threads just to make people argue all the time.

The thread in serious debates is to discuss that story, not to troll and accuse people of racism.

And also on a different note, people say we should give a reason when we lock threads, and when we do, this happens. Again, we cant win.

Feel free to make the thread again...but without the underhand accusations of racism whenever anyone comments (not that it was you, talking in general)

Also closing this...because we don't allowed thread asking why others were locked. :)
