This lot is awful, I can't remember any BB being as bad as this.

A shocking line up, what the **** were the producers thinking?

Us lot on here would have picked a better lot off the back of the pictures on the Channel 4 site, absolutely rubbish.

I'm giving it another week, I hope it will improve but new faces are needed.

I agree.

In my opinion, the only good casting decisions were Shabby, Ben, Sunshine, Rachael, Corin and John James. They rest just makes me think 'what in the hell were the producers thinking?'.

Just posted on another thread that they need to put some new HMs in NOW. If Ben wasn't in it I wouldn't be watching at all.

Well you can't exactly say how entertaining someone's gonna be until they're in there. It's pot luck. Sometimes you hit a winner, sometimes you don't.

This years bunch is a hell of a lot better than BB4, BB8 and the majority of BB10 though.

Sunshine, Shabby, Ben, Govan...then ....erm..maybe John are worthwhile. You always get some bores at the start but they need to leave in the earlier weeks like in BB7.

BB10 had amazing HMs

it had
Sophie (Hilarious Bubbly fun! a FUn winner - entertaining
Freddie (amazing HM just brilliant)
Bea (a big brother bitch who was great and was a great HM for this!)
Angel (weirdo but is needed for BB i hated her but good HM)
Sree (same as Angel)
Siavash (irratating but entertaining)
Lisa - vile horrible must disgusting woman who everyone hated - (which made a good HM)
Noirin who went around slagging with others (i hated her but amazing HM)
Marucs who was vile and sickeinging
Rodrigo - i loved Roddy he was so hilarious with his tantrems u always need someone with tantrems
Charlie - some say fake some say not but bubbly he was a good HM

there were loads of releationships
Charlie + Rod
Sophie + Kris
Noirin + everyone etc

On July new people are entering, on Week 6 there's ment to be a twist, This series is ment to have alot of twists, on the final 2 weeks all the old Housemates are returning.

Plenty to stay tuned for.

And to answer your question mate, indeed there has been a worst selection of housemates..

Yep. Worst cast yet, without a doubt.

And sadly the small number of housemates from this cast that had/have any ****ing potential are being picked off one by one by the completely deluded voting public.

I personally found BB10 really boring. Only really watched about 4 weeks of it in total, on and off.. but that's also because it looked SO bad after BB9, and the house was terrible. At least the house is epic this year, and frankly I love the housemates too, in comparison to the ones from last year.

Yep, you can actually understand why more or less every HM from that series (bar Hira) was put in.

I agree this serie isn't quite up there with some of the best but i wish people would stop going on about how Rachael shouldn't have gone and they miss her.
She was a boring, stereotypical wannabe HM that wasn't needed.

It's like all the Steph lovers from BB9, boring housemate yet everyone was up in arms about her going.

Patrick - I see where you are coming from but it shouldn't take the producers 6 weeks to sort out their own **** up. A huge **** up too.

They got the BB10 cast absolutely spot on, infact I'd say it's one of my favourite casts ever.

Diverse, interesting, and bar Hira, all added something to the show. Extremely underrated series.

And it just goes to show that at the end of the day casting is everything. The production was sh!t last year, but a brilliant cast made for a brilliant series. This year the production is good - but the housemates are crap - and so far, it's making for an absolutely appauling series. Disappointing.

Never going to agree with that. Great housemates (Rex, Darnell, Cookie Kat, Luke, Bex), really fancy and fun house, wicked Diary room chair, and a close family friend, Rachel, crowned the winner. Now that, is a legendary series.

I don't think the series is particularly great so far, but it's definitely not their worst cast out of the gate. A little different, all quirk and no sex appeal. Since BB6 though I've pretty much hated 100% of the cast going in and had to let them all grow on me over time. BB11 is no exception. It's not the worst, but 95% of posters here could do a better job casting.

For me the only thing BB10 was missing was great tasks (but then again so has every series since BB7). It had everything, and although Hira may of been boring she still did contributed a little bit, well at least more than Steve, Nathan, Iffy, Dave, and Ciaomhe

I like the housemates, LF shows us great fun moments, shame that the Hls miss them out.
Tasks are generall good, like yesterdays penalty shootout task, the sticking people up task and todays puppet task etc...

My names Salv by the way.

Oh, and another thing, I keep saying it but it's because it's true.

The problem this year is that the amount of dullards is far, far too much. In the past we've only had to put up with a couple (Hira, Rachel, Susie to name a few)...and they have just flew under the radar and the larger characters have shone. But that's not the case this year. Far too many dullards and so there is **** all to watch.

Last year proved that ten years on, BB still had the legs to continue. This year proves why Big Brother is coming to an end.

Oh yeah there's no doubting that. I still think all my 'favourites' are pretty ****e housemates - they all are. But the way I see it is either they stay or we are left with Ife, Dave, Steve, Mario, Josie, Sunshine and some of the other dullards whose names I can't even remember, to all get on with each other. And that definitely will be sh!t.

Its VERY funny. I think the puppet task is genius, brings out personalites certainkly brought out Steves...

It reminded me of the Box Task when they were arguing and you could only see the pics of the HMs, because when they were talking the cameraman only focussed on the puppets.

JJ and SS smooching was so funny.

I agree. People like Rachel, Darnell, Kathreya, Mo, Stuart, Dale, etc. are what ruined the season for me. I found them so unbelievably annoying that it became unbearable to watch towards the end. Thank god for Sara, Lisa, and Rex at the end cuz they were the ones who kept me watching.

But even in BB9 they still had great housemates that made up for the ****ty ones. And even the most entertaining ones this season aren't even that great. If you put Sunshine, Ben, or Shabby in BB10, BB7, or BB6 they would fade into the background compared to the rest of the cast and no one would find them entertaining in comparison to Nikki, Makosi, or Marcus.

It's just his rants that made me laugh.

And if Rachael had stayed, the storyline between him and her would've developed and got more intense, if you ask me.

Once the house divide is torn apart (which is currently happening) - we are ****ed. It's as simple as that.

Spot on.

It's highly distressing to think of how an entire team of people who get money thrown at them to sit around a table and match up strangers could do such an incredibly bad job at the casting. BB11's housemates feel like they only form what should be half of the overall cast. I even said that on launch. It's like they got a dozen reasonably good housemates, took two thirds out, and - with intent - put in the dullest ones they could find.

Nothing simply clicks this year. The final BB should have been an absoloute onslaught of endless twists, tasks and mentally draining psychological mind tricks from the start. Viewers don't get hooked by red and yellow flags outside the house. They get hooked by things being bigger, louder, and somewhat different but with the classic formula intact. This show should have been designed to rope in lost viewers. Why the hell would I watch this series if I have not followed it in recent years? Give me a reason. I dare you. Instead it's following 2007 and it's formula of putting a dim bunch of people in ~whacky costumes in the hope that one of them might fart or fall over or something.

Look at how effortlessly Endemol ballsed up the mole task. I defy anyone to attempt to defend that piece of ****. It should have been a week long saga of betrayal and tears. Instead it was a weekend of a gay bloke dressed as a mole knocking some cereal and pizza on the kitchen floor.

Yeah? Really? **** you, Endemol.

Completely true.

I just don't get why they care so much about potential controversies anymore. Infact, a controversy would rope in a **** load of viewers. There should be unlimited alcohol, tasks/twists designed to piss with their brains and emotionally and psychologically **** them up, housemates that'd rub each other up the wrong way, etc etc. They shouldn't care what anyone has to say anymore - the show is ending. I'd rather see it go out with an almighy bang than some half-arsed attempt.
