View Full Version : Why are people expecting new housemates?

Its been quite obvious (to me at least) that the producers had no intention to put any new housemates in from the very start. If no new housemates go in then there will be about 3 housemates left for the finale which makes sense considering the finale is also the launch of the all star series so they wont have much time to evict housemates.
Obviously the producers need to put new housemates in, but that doesnt mean they are going to go through the hassle of changing there plans and actually putting new housemates in.

Because there's a week before anyone is evicted, there will actually 4 left @ week 11 if there aren't any intruders, double evictions, walks, or ejected. It would be kind of refreshing to have none of these, but I'm not expecting anything.

like i said in the op, they dont want a lot of people left in the house by the final because they have to also put people into the house on that night

I personally don't want any new housemates. I'm fine with the ones they have. I don't want these housemates having contact with people who have seen the show.

If they will argue over a packet of crisp then what the hell are they going to argue about at the midway point. The only worrying point is that if Shabby goes this week which she probably will, that the other housemates turn it into BB4.
Not many new housemates from the past have been any good at all. New housemates are overrated beyond belief.

They producers are stupid if they don't put new people in. I won't be able to watch these dullards for another 9 weeks.

I don't think there will be neither, not really complaining, only new housemate I really liked was Aisleyne in BB7.

The website that gives tickets out for BB live shows states on the 9th July ticket: 'see the latest person evicted plus all the new housemates'
I forget the website butsomeon on this fourm found it so just look back at previous posts to find it

They've had that wording up for a while now, possibly from the beginning of the show.

I hate new housemates going in, and it's rare they do well, often being picked off asap - when maybe original HMs should be going.
I thought I had bookmarked the ticket page, but yes, it def said eviction and new HMs for July 9th.
Which newbie gave our world cup info - and who was it last year that told them michael jackson had died (think that was a visitor actually, a former HM?)
but anyone who has been able to see the show in advance has an unfair advantage; they know who is liked or not.
I agree that most of this year's are "nice" and they do need some kind of a shake up: will someone like Shabby volunteer someone like Ben for a "nasty" day when evicted? I can see most of them voting for a nice day for a friend

yep they always go for the fav from outside and
give away secrets from the outside plus they end up eviction fodder

He posted on DS a couple of days ago and said he will do it soon. Howver only the individual beds can be tipped.

I think they will definitely put new HMs in. Why not? They can get rid of them easily enough with surprise or double evictions.
New HMs will refresh the show. They'd be insane not to just do it. Sadly, I have no faith in them choosing the right type to stir things up.
