where the hell are the youth players that could stand up to Germanys great young team in the future
there are a few decent young players but no one in the same league as Ozil or Muller
i know wilshire and gibbs from arsenal look great players
rodwell from everton looks like he be a great player
Villa have some good young players
but can you see any great young players coming through

thats if you make it to the next world cup
if you can get players like german's youth team in the next four years you might do well

The league is more and more revolved around foreigners, more than when the golden generation was growing up (your gerrards etc) so we are truely screwed for getting some world class gems
But then we might actually play better as a team if there are no massive stars

Now is the time for PL clubs to focus on bringing through players
I've had a look at that Jones for Blackburn, he looks a brilliant young CB, people saying the new JT

Ah, they had great players in Italia 90 Stephen.
But yeah, it's worrying that there's not many young English players playing at the best clubs, and sure even if they are they're on the sidelines far too much.

I'd say Euro 2012 is the last these guys have
On the bright side, at least were not the only ones with trouble, France, Italy etc

France have a lot of young players.. well between 23 and 26.. but management is just messed up lol
We have some quality youth players, and i still think it was a mistake not taking walcott this time..

Goalkeeper : Joe Hart, Robert Green will still be fairly young.
Defenders : Kieran Gibbs, Micah Richards, Michael Mancienne, Glen Johnson, Chris Smalling.
Midfield : Adam Johnson, Jack Rodwell, Lee Catermole, Tom Huddelstone, Dan Gosling, Henri Lansbury, James Milner, Ashley Young, Jose Baxter
Forward : Rooney, Theo Walcott, Gabby Agbonlahor, Andy Carrol?
Oldest people in that team would be 28 come the world cup.. most be 23 - 24
Highlighted all players that have already played for england..

Lets not forget the potential of wilshire (who will be 20 the time euro 2012 comes around and imo will get a place at it (if we make it).
The emirates cup for example..
Where he was man of the match against some bigger players (cesc fabregas was in the team aswell)

Smalling has moved to united..
he is gunna get better. He wont play. Johnny Evans and Wes Brown will get more games than him.
I think the OP has a point. There are aome stand out players like Wilthire. ashley Youn, Agbonlahor but England dont seem to have strength in depth.
