From today's Ananova:

Big Brother is crowned top TV show of the year

Big Brother was your favourite TV show of 2001.

We had a bumper response when we asked you to vote for the best programme of the year.

Big Brother took 29% of the vote, comfortably ahead of The Sopranos in second with 21%.

The West Wing came third in our poll with 20% with the When Louis Met... series attracting 16%.

The Office was fifth with 14%.

Big Brother won!!!! I would have been very surprised if it didn't. I don't watch any of the others, thats why I voted for BB!
