View Full Version : Virus warning possibly targeting TIBB e-mail addresses

Earlier this evening my Norton Anti-Virus intercepted safely a virus that came on the e-mail address I use for this forum.

The virus was the W32.Klez.H@mm virus.


Please can you all update all anti virus software and be careful of your e-mail

Mark & Lee can you check your systems

I have got the following on my virus alerts



Dear Graeme,

McAfee.com is issuing an update to the W32/Klez.h@MM virus
alert. This is a HIGH RISK virus for HOME USERS, which is
spread via email. McAfee.com has received reports that
certain Klez variants have the ability to alter or destroy
files if the virus is present on July 13th. As always, we
recommend that you keep your anti-virus software up-to-date
for the best protection.

Because of what I do for a living I check all my pc's regularly with an up to date virus checker.

I haven't had any problems for ages so I'm sure it's not me. Also Mark is regularly emailing me and if his machine was infected I'm sure my virus checker would have picked it up.
