Andy
Everything I Do (Bryan Adams) should be good! Its somethingd differnt - But that might go against him!
Lately (Stevie Wonder) Again - This should be good.

Brenda
Without You (Harry Nilsson) I like this song - I'm sure Brenda will do it brillantly!
R.E.S.P.E.C.T (Aretha Franklin) I Know Brenda will do and fantastic job singing this! It suits her voice spot on!

Journey South
Let It Be (The Beatles) My Fav Beatles song - I think they will do good with this song.
You're In My Heart (Rod Stewart) Hate thos song and RS!

Shayne
Don't Stop Me Now (Queen) I LOVE this song - Its Fantastic - This song is legendary - I hope Shayne manages to do it justice!

Thanks for the info Kaz!

Andy
Everything I Do (Bryan Adams) - Well at least it's something different - hopefully he'll do well with it, and if so it might work in his favour. Of course, it could all go pear shaped!
Lately (Stevie Wonder) - I think he'll probably do well with this - I'd love to know what Kizwiz thinks - she's a big Stevie Wonder fan if my memory serves me correctly!

Brenda
Without You (Harry Nilsson) - I HATE this song. It's one of the most depressing songs ever written. I an't begin to imagine how Brenda will do with it - she'll probably sing it quite well, but I doubt I'll be listening to it.
R.E.S.P.E.C.T (Aretha Franklin) - Perfect for Brenda - although Aretha's voice is a lot to live up to. But I think this will be great.

Journey South
Let It Be (The Beatles) - Well, 10 out of 10 for bravery if nothing else! I love Journey South and want them to win, but taking on the Beatles is a HUGE risk. Having said that, they've done really well with some tough songs in the past.
You're In My Heart (Rod Stewart) No doubt they will do well with this, but I've never been that keen on this song.

Shayne
Don't Stop Me Now (Queen) - Pfft! Freddie Mercury's voice is so distinctive - I can't imagine anybody else doing justice to this song. With a bit of luck, Shayne will be out this week (although I suspect it will be Andy).
Unchained Melody (The Righteous Brothers) - Double pfft. Way too ambitious. Shayne could go from being the judge's favourite to being the worst act on Saturday.

Do u kno wot songs they will be doing in the duets?

I think Brenda and Andy are either doing Endless Love or Kids by Robbie and Kylie.

And i think shayne and JS are doing Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me!

Not positive though.

Oooh, I didn't know that they were doing duets too! Although I must say that I would love to see JS doing Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me - I think they would do brilliantly with it.

I hope Brenda and Andy don't do Endless Love - it's such a cliched choice. I can't see them doing Kids though - it doesn't seem to suit either of them!

I think they said the duets were for the tour, I don't know though.

Andy
Everything I Do (Bryan Adams)-On the evidence of last night he should do it really well, they have changed the arragement and he sounded great.
Lately (Stevie Wonder)-Great choice, he will do this justice.

Brenda
Without You (Harry Nilsson)- It will be along the Mariah Carey theme I should imagine and Brenda will be fab.
R.E.S.P.E.C.T (Aretha Franklin)-Good up tempo song for Brenda

Journey South
Let It Be (The Beatles)-Good choice for them, I can see them doing it well.
You're In My Heart (Rod Stewart)-Not sure about this, after hearing Carl play electric guitar so well on 24/7 I think they should have gone for something more rocky.

Shayne
Don't Stop Me Now (Queen)- I don't think this is a good choice for Shayne, it's Queen's song and I don't think any cover will do it justice let alone someone with a voice like Shayne.
Unchained Melody (The Righteous Brothers) *-It's been done many many times but to be honest it's a good song and I think it suit's Shayne's voice down to a tee, he sounded good on 24/7.

Andy has two 'easy' songs, so he should be okay. Still, he's had a bad couple of weeks, and a lot of people seem to think that he'll be going home on Saturday. I think he's the best vocalist left on the show, and expected him to make the final at first. He seems like a nice guy, but gosh, he's so incredibly dull!

Brenda has two songs that are totally out of her league. No doubt Sharon will say she's fabulous, as usual. Louis will ignore the performance and say that he'd buy her records, as usual. And Simon will heap yet more undeserved praise on at best average performances, as usual.

Journey South A little variety this week, then - a song to grunt through, and a song to shout through.

Shayne The Queen song he should be okay with. Unchained Melody is a strange choice, given that Louis is always accusing Simon of getting all his acts to cover it. Still, he should be okay with it, and safely through to the final.

Do you honestly think that these songs are out of her league?

Personally, I don't. I think Brenda, overall, has given the most consistent performances of anyone left to date.

Last week she did prouduce a vocal performance that this series of the show hasn't seen the standard of yet IMO. I think she will be fantastic.

Yes, and it turned out that way on the night, too. I think she was consistenly average, and nothing she did could hold a candle to Maria's performances.
