The thing is I dont think she is the sort of person to market herself to try and gain favour with anyone. Certainly with the way she dresses anyway.

She did say that most of the clothes she has were given to her by friends and maybe she is wearing the hat as a sort of message to the person who gave her it to say she is thinking about them. Similarly to footballers brandishing their shinguards or kissing their tatoos with their kids names when they score a goal.

that's the point, look at that hat it is brand new, look at past photos- that is not a hat that was worn previously. Also in one of her music videos she is wearing a hat but it is completly different. TONS of people have liprings, not just shabby, clearly you've never seen one before, if you mistook it for a cold sore.
