its certainly not the best BB ever so far but its been far better then 10,9 and 8. I think many of you are disappointed cause there's not enough crazy over the top hms and too many of them are to normal but i love the fact we don't have the caRTOON LIKE PERSONALITY'S THIS YEAR.
Yes i think once shabby ben and JJ go there's goign to be dullards( the only fault is there too many which is scary:shocked:). I think we've had some great moments, great bitches and fights and some laugh out moments.
so why do the haters hate it?

I'm actually pleasantly suprised with this Big Bro. The housemates all seem 'fairly normal' compared to previous few years. which is a GOD SEND!. Was getting sick to death of the freak shows they were throwing in year after year.

I think its definitely better than BB10 & BB8 at the moment....TBH.

Its not that bad. How can you say its better than bb10 know steve. BB10 was a great series, I agree its better then the bb8 and bb9.
What I think the problem is, is that their is too many nice people and not enough big characters. The tasks are boring, and apart from the mole task, theres been no twists. The show needs a great twist to bugger with all there heads. It could be a great series, however there is something missing!

i think a lot of the younger forumers probably started at BB8 with the freaks and for them seen normal hm's must be a shock:joker:
its been a pretty good BB
certainly is more consistent then the last three

I don't think there are enough nice people. You can have someone who is nice enough but also a character as Sunshine shows. BB10 so far looks like it will be far better, but this could yet be better than 8 or 9.

i taught BB10 was way too nasty for my liking. It had its moments but the winner was awful and we lost some great hms far too early

I'm more invested in this series than have been for a while (since BB7 probably). They've but in a bunch of loony wierdos which is amusing. Dave is their only fail for a loony wierdo as I suspect that's why the got in, but not living up to the producers' expectations.

Well I thought it had a bit of everything to it. Yes the winner was bad, but hey the public are fickle, just see its happenign with corin this year :yuk:

It's not the best series, but it's far from the worst either. I think if things remain as entertaining as last night's HL's then it could wind up being better than BB8 or BB10. Faint praise maybe, but it's something.

The problem is that the HL shows either dwell too much on the friction between the 2 factions or the events surrounding Shabby. Things like actual discussions, stories about their lives and task involvement are glossed over therefore leaving us with little clue about their real personalities.

Corin will win sadly unless somethign major happens
although a new hm could win this if they bring them in sooner
Sophie was awful winner
and the last 6 was awful as well

This is true. I never watch any Live Feed, and dont really think about this kind of thing when watching the HL show every night, but now you've mentioned it, it does make you wonder what we are missing.

Yeh that's true. Sunshine has been very open about herself on the show and sounds more humble than some others. Ife for instance I don't like listening to so much.

Tbh, I hardly recognise the people on the HL show behaviour wise after watching the LF for a time a lot of the time.
It's crazy how they can pick out the odd second of a HM and use that to represent them how they want the HL public to see them and ignore how they actually act 90% of the time.
Govan, for instance, was very funny but he was presented as 100% bitch (he was only actually 25%). Shabby as well... on LF she is often just lovely, but that is never shown.
It's part of what makes it hard to debate different HMs around here... we all have such a different view on them based on how much BB we watch in a given day.

nastiness is all good though, in moderation.
the best HMs have a mixture of nasty and nice, as we know. :D
I'm liking this series a lot more than CCB7,CBB6 and BB10. It's the first series in a while that I havn't had to force myself to watch.

I would agree more with Govan, but I think they haven't shown the humour of Sunshine much or her quirkyness and her honest conversation either.

Still early days I'd say but it's not so bad.
I think we have sort of acclimatised to the present "atmosphere" in the house but who knows what tangent we might be thrown onto with the arrival of new housemates. As Forrest Gump might say, new housemates are like a box of chocolates and "You never know what you're gonna git". That could make or break the show.
I for one am looking forward to that.

New hm's either go
1. they team up with the least popluar cause they know they will get screen time
2. start a romance with someone popular
3. Fade into the background so noone will nom them
4. try to hard to be liked

They just ignore SS until they want to make her look like a victim.
it's obviously the story they want to tell about her, true or not.

A lot of BB viewers project their own victim complexes onto the show and automatically fall on the side of a socially weaker HM.
The confuse a 'good' HM with one that they feel needs 'protecting'.

As I said in other threads, this series has a "watchable" value where it's not a house full of freaks arguing for camera time.
They're all "normal" and provide some excellent entertainment from all areas of the experiment.
Brilliant series!
Beats BB10 hands down already.

I am enjoying it more & more. The right housemates are being evicted for once. Can't wait for the new housemates to arrive.
