True, In recent years weve had Girls Aloud, Spice Girls and Westlife being the xmas number 1. They were not about xmas,

Everyone has been talking about it in school saying it's great.
IMO, it's absoulutely CRAPPPP!!! Lol.
yes, its a good original song, its played an awful lot on the radio though like you say kizwiz which i agree could kill it
During my "free" periods at school i usually listen to my MP3 player which has a radio on it and people on radio 1 are always requesting it, good song

I dunno about it being number one at Xmas, but I read recently that it's had advance orders of 250,000. I was in HMV today, and the only other new release I noticed that seems likely to sell really big is Westlife & Diana Ross - which I'd be very surprised to see sell 1/4 million copies in a week.
I can cope with bad vocals if the lyrics / song structure are good, or vice versa. But this is awful in all departments.

See thats the thing... its a great song but like most good songs if you hear it too much then you get bored of it!
I'm still loving it though!

Well, anything that stops Westlife from getting to number one is fine by me!

The Nizlopi story said that they'd had advance orders of 250,000, and had another 150,000 ready to go. The X Factor single has advance orders of 450,000, so it sounds like a dead cert. The bookies have a ridiculous list of contenders - at least half of the acts they're offering odds on haven't even got a single coming out at all.

I find it very strange that people have put odds on a song that they havent even heard yet.

I just heard it for the first time there!
I love it!
They're not too brilliant on the vocal side! Lol.
However, I think that if they either released it a couple of weeks ago, or waited a few weeks to release it, they'd have done much better. I remember watching them on Richard and Judy, in what seemed like ages ago...
Good song, top 10 definitely, but I can't see it being Christmas Number 1!
