it's a different language. Ye do it with English words as well you know. Why is photograph not spelled with an F? Why enough not spelled enouff? every language has different rules.

Why is Slough not pronounced sluff as in rough or sloo as in through? No, it's pronounced Slow as in plough.

We have a few in Welsh. DD is th, LL is, well, you can't type it in English. Y is U like in Rygbi and U is ee like in Heddlu (hethlee meaning police).

I don't see why some people on here find it oh so confusing tbh, the mh is pronounced like a V same as my name Niamh (Nee-av) It's not that hard to grasp!

I don't understand the big ****ing deal over her name. Her name is Caoimhe - not Keeva. it's an Irish name and comes from the Irish language, get over it. Ife's name isn;t pronounced like 'knife'. Have a bit of respect.

Our names were Anglicized when we were occupied..before we kicked you out.

Must be really annoying for them to be constantly explaining how to spell and pronounce their names. Especially when they venture out of Ireland.
Its almost cruel to put that lifelong burden on a child. What's wrong with Jane or Emily ffs?
Stacey.

I don't even get why they pronounce it like that.

Because she is Irish...not English...
Are you actually aware there are other languages other than English..

Er...because it's not English
She doesn't pronounce her name properly though. In Ireland everyone who spells there name "Caoimhe" pronounces it as Queeva. She should change her name to "Keevah" because even though her name is spelt in Irish, it's pronounced in English so it's just bloody confusing.

Er, Ive been here a damn sight longer than you so less of the troll crap. Do you even know what a troll is?
Clearly not.
And chill the **** out. BB is a UK show not an Irish show so her name is unusual to its main audience.
