I was just wondering if there was actually a need to rate threads anymore, Just looking at the BB forum half of the topics are rated 1 star and some of them have some decent debates etc, they clearly don't really play a role anymore.
So, yea, do we really still need them?
*waits for someone to rate this thread one star :/*

I don't think anyone uses them positively tbh, I do though. :(

I'm bumping this because it's happening again, Theres a thread about Shabby leaving and I've seen it go from a 4 star down to a 2 star rating

It's a rather odd little function that only the LeatherTrumpets of the site (that is to say, the sad and petty) use.
That said, I have onestarred music threads that are about awful musicians ;)

So yes you agree overall it should be scrapped ?

I've been thinking about getting rid of it, yeah. It is not really being used properly... people low rating threads because they don't agree with the opinion etc.

Agree.
And what's the point? You can rate your own thread 5 stars if you want! It is kind of pathetic.

As is typing in different colours and bolded font because you think you are a moderator.
He is one of these members obsessed with being a 'personality' on the forum and providing us with gossip/trying to do things/desiging T-Shirts for individual members that sorta thing.
As for thread ratings ... I only ever really used them to one star ILoveTRW.

Yea, but it's just petty when people rate threads one star

MMMMMMMM so the star ratings are scrapped and it has had a negative effect on the forum the only effect it has had is to encourage people that disagree with a troll thread to comment rather than to just vote down and move on which can cause needless arguments.
bring back the ratings.

they have gone for me and smithy there is a way to stop people giving your threads a low rating and thats to not post spammy crap intended to annoy people and not to try and rubbish other peoples opinion which you childishly always seem to do.

They're still here for me :conf2:, edit: well some of them are
And the arguments were always there, the thread ratings won't change anything
