- Gossiping/bitching about his own alleged 'group' of pals

- Openly stating he is in BB solely for self-promotion rather than any aspects of the experience........and that he is not prepered to act as a team player

- Putting his foot in it (think of the lies he made up about his ToT task that he’d have to do horrible things to others like steal Shabby’s other hats)

- Refusing to put any effort into tasks and/or giving-up in huge melodramatics (think the wall sticking task)

- Constantly rule breaking (eg the hot water infraction which he even tried to weasel away from responsibility for - he said in DR "Can you let the others know about the hot water without mentioning me?"

- Wimping out of taking his punishment for revealing he'd had a secret mission from ToT (and knowingly dropping Dave and potentially the whole house in the brown sticky-stuff)

Leaving aside my prejudices regarding his elitist perceptions/attitudes to life, I tend to think of him as a thoroughly awful, self-serving individual.

I'll tell you why:

- Gossiping/bitching about his own alleged 'group' of pals

- Openly stating he is in BB solely for self-promotion rather than any aspects of the experience........and that he is not prepered to act as a team player- Putting his foot in it (think of the lies he made up about his ToT task that he’d have to do horrible things to others like steal Shabby’s other hats)

- Refusing to put any effort into tasks and/or giving-up in huge melodramatics (think the wall sticking task)

- Constantly rule breaking (eg the hot water infraction which he even tried to weasel away from responsibility for - he said in DR "Can you let the others know about the hot water without mentioning me?"

- Wimping out of taking his punishment for revealing he'd had a secret mission from ToT (and knowingly dropping Dave and potentially the whole house in the brown sticky-stuff)

Leaving aside my prejudices regarding his elitist perceptions/attitudes to life, I tend to think of him as a thoroughly awful, self-serving individual.

Look what happend with Freddie, everyone thought it was adone deal when he was favourite to win and survived ever eviction, but his true colours came out and he turned into a cocky ****. Sophie deserved to win.

lol you would be a fool to put any faith in forum polls, here, at DS, or otherwise. They are no representation of how the larger public will vote come the day, just the concentrated opinion of the hardcore BB minority, many of who (mainly from DS) direct focused support/ hate campaigns in order to protect their betting stakes (you will see many DS users come here, post one pro Ben statement and then vanish for days for instance, just to keep the illusion of wide support for Ben alive).

As for being top 3 with the bookies right now... well, tbh, if he isnt the clear favourite by now with all the free camera time and solo tasks that BB have given him then he will never be... Especially as he has now self destructed his own clique in the house by being openly exposed as a feckless manipulative selfish liar :joker:

Freddie was a much more likable toff yet his cockiness shone thru in the end. There will come a week when Ben goes too far with his condescedning attitude to the HM's and the whole experience and BB wont be able to manipulate the footage to keep him in. There is not chance in hell Ben is going to win BB.

He has just gave us a 90 second masterpiece, he was already well liked before that masterpiece but that surely would have pulled in a whole new level off support for our King.

Lets look at his Rivals -

Steve - He has done nothing to stand out no worries for Ben
Corin - People will get sick of that horrible voice after a bit, she will finish a graceful 3rd or 4th
John James - No match for the King at all and will probably get headbutted by him soon if he carries on giving him Cheek
Shabby - less said about this Dyke mess the better
Caoimhe - Some boring irish bint that will go next week
Mario - No threat for the king but even if he was he would probably lie down at let him him
Monk - Monk will finish 2nd
Josie - Disgusting lazy ogre which the King will slay soon
Nathan - The King is using him for Meals then when the time is right he will be taken down and thrown over the big brother wall
Ife - King Ben doesn't even know who she is... he has just heard people talking about her




So you might as well class Ben as the winner of big brother 2010 now

He should be the winner and definately after doing so well on friday, he has had to do what no other housemate ever has. BUT.... BB themselves are setting him up for fallas every chance they can, it is a dosgrace the way he is being picked on by BB, not just some of the housemates who simply dislike him for the way he talks.
He should win and I hope he does but I fear BB has manipulated it this week that his housemates are so angry with him that they will nominate him this week,which shows how daft they are after seeing how the crowd loved him on friday.Sadly I dont even trust the BB voting this time either, why they suddenly need over half an hour to say the result is beyond me,what is being done with the votes menatime, I think BB dont want Ben to win, I think they want Shabby to, so if BB can get him pit they will, they were successful with Freddie last time and they are doing it again this time only much worse with Ben.
Ben is being bullied by BB,he can deal with the prejudices of the other housemates himself, he is educated and also decent unlike most in there.

For the first year since Big Brother 4 I've had no interest really in any of the other housemates. The only reason i'm still watching is to see what Ben does and says next. NONE of the other housemates do anything of merit. John James is mildly interesting and causes friction but the others are all dispensable.

I really hope Ben wins it. He's a genuinely nice guy who's entertaining and has saved this series.
