I agree and I do like him:). Good thing about Ben for me is that he has shown a good and bad side to his character which means I have a split opinion on him.. odds and the polls are a way of guessing popularity, overall it all comes down to the voting.

i don't mind him been hated but when a postive thread saying he's liked comes up its shot down. I think he's kept this show alive but of course a few would disagree

He has contributed a lot to the show same as Shabby who people do have a very strong opinion on, then theres Josie, JJ and Corin:).

Ben is the backbone of the show at the moment and without him i wouldn't like to imagine how dull and tedious it would be. For someone to face the eviction crowd and not get boo'd to hell and back is proof of his popularity with the public too (if the fact that he's top of the popularity polls everywhere wasn't enough to convince you already!).
As far as i'm concerned as long as he doesn't do something randomly disasterous i think he's gonna' win this thing and i think Steve will probably be the runner up!
Nobody else in there has even come close to changing the public's opinion of themselves in such a hugely positive way from when they entered the house up until know as Ben has.

What a silly thread Arse.... A better question would be to ask yourself would be 'why can't Ben fanbois understand why he is so strongly disliked?'

But... of course we get that he is popular, that has never been debated, but that is no reason alone to change my opinion.

We don't all have to fall into line with the crowd though and like him just because you say he is popular... (Do I need to put my sheep avatar back up in your honour again? :joker: )

I like him but just can't see him having wide enough support to actually win. He's a bit of an acquired taste. Plus many BB viewers will just have an instinctive aversion to posh types. They may be won round to some degree but not enough to vote for him to actually win.

He lies, he schemes, he bitches, he's lazy, he thinks he's above taking part in tasks.

Key words there are "A few" maybe they are a bit scared he might outshine their favourite.Which so far he has,he's shown good and bad sides of him,which they all have but some are hestitant to show it as they might look bad to the public,we see Ben warts and all and because he has faults like the rest of us is one reason why I like him,he is not afraid to say what he thinks and if people think that's 'bitching' that is their problem,I have never heard Ben say anything nasty about anyone,he may not be good in the tasks,but boy he is funny and has been good entertainment,it's just a shame that the few scrutinize his every word and put their own slant on what they THINK he is all about ,afterall they obviously know him far better than he does himself!!!,LOL:dance:
