Ben is ready to quit on his exercise punishment in less than twenty mins. What a lazy, useless loser. My support for him is waining. He has been told if he quits someone else will suffer a lot worse.

Lets see if he quits if he does I hope the public kicks him out and he doesn't get what he wants from his stay in BB.

The fact he has to be threatened with punishment to make him participate in a task says it all about him.

Spineless little dickhead.

Bens either really lazy or is too consvious of how he will be portrayed. If his agent really suggested he go on BB and he really wants to be taken seriously...the agent should be fired.

What does he have to do?

I am watching it, but he is just sitting in a room.

It's harsh on him but it is Ben's own fault for blabbing about his task and not trying hard enough in the tasks:).

He should do no matter what. At the end of the day this a punishment not a task.

I like Ben but I have to agree with you. Hes all mouth when everything is nice and easy for him but when it becomes slightly difficult he quits. Not nice at all. He would gain a lot of respect if he followed this task to the end instead of quitting because he has to exert himself a little.

I honestly believe he would let Steve take his place if it meant he could go back into the house and sit down. Harsh but true. Its all about Ben, Ben, Ben!

Couldn't they give him something he's used to ?

Shooting a pheasant, waxing a Barbour, going through the Boden catalogue ?

Actually it was less than 5 minutes.

The rest of the time he spent moping and feeling sorry for himself.

It's gonna be harder on the HM he knew he was passing it on to by giving up though.

He's such a selfish little scroat.

Everything the drill sergeant said about him is true, he is just the Give Up King.

The only thing he has seen through so far was talking to a crowd for 90 seconds, which is hardly a push considering he is a professional presenter.

Ben's supporters just like him because they get to laugh at him (note not with him) and for that they forgive everything else he obviously is.

Says a lot about some people's nature tbh.

Dave is ready to give up too in less time than Lord Snooty did by my reckoning. Dave can do the task when it means saving himself but not when it means saving his hms from punishment. Mind you I don't blame him for wanting to walk out of what was Bens punishment.

I wonder if his friendship will stay strong with Ben for dropping him in it big time?

Julie10

It looks like Dave did complete the task. It looks like telling Ben he would be there for 6 hours was just to test whether he would be up for it. Well done to Dave anyway.

Its funny what a short memory some of them have. I wouldn't call Ben a coward either as Nathan did. Just lazy and not a trier, at least try but he whinged because he couldn't be bothered to break into a sweat and do a bit of hard work.

I know which task was the easiest ,anyone could have sat and laughed ,but Nathan gave straight up ,but a few meals down their necks before nominations and the knife in Bens back and he will be safe again

Afraid you've gone way OT there.

This thread was not principally concerned with tasks, but with Ben's PUNISHMENT which he wimped-out of as another instance of his pure self-interest

......thereby putting Dave and ultimately the whole house in the firing-line.

Well boo hoo:bawling: BB have one last card up their sleeve if they want to punish him, and that's to either evict him forthwith or leave him in the house to cause arguments, tension, confrontations etc., which is what I thought most of the FMs want isn't it? Who would have thought Ben would be the ultimate rebel? I hope he continues to refuse his punishment which is well OTT compared to those dished out to Mario and Scabby for instance.

Very true, they'd probably say the punishment wasn't harsh enough or just say they should be chucked out straight away.

At least he's facing the punishment alone, when it was Shabby, the whole place was punished turning them all against her by and large.

So, when BB punished the whole house or a friend of Shabby's when she did something wrong, you think that was mild, do you?.

I beg to differ. It turned people against Shabby and that's the quickest way to be evicted.

I'm fine with emotional/physical weaklings bad at every physical task so long as they entertain, and Ben has done that for me. To me, it doesn't matter how well you do on the tasks or whether you do them at all, as long as you catalyze interesting moments in the house, and you can do that as a taskaholic or as Ben.

In sum, if you're a good character, I'll let you get away with almost anything. If you're boring as hell, who cares whether you do the tasks? GET OUT

And yet the skank is still there after BB stitched up Sunshine.

BB is going way OTT on the punishment and if I were Ben I'd be even more defiant. No doubt he'll be up for eviction next week, nominated by that bunch of useless boring dullards, but I don't give his opponent(s) much chance against him since BB11 would have been utter sh*t without him in it, and will disappear up it's own a*se if and when he goes.
