Cause Xavi and Iniesta are better

and Busquets does the shielding of the defence role

There is no room for him until Xavi retires. If he goes to Barcelona Fab will play second fiddle to those two

It more because the others all play in Spain. Alonzo didn't get too many caps till he moved back to Spain and Fabregas is better than Alonzo.

Fabregas played better than both xavi and iniesta this season, but its because they play in la liga.. for barca..

Because Xavi is better than him. It's simply a case of two similar players and the coach having to select one.

Because Xavi is a much better player than Fabregas in every single way:).

They play a different type of game GirthTrue but Xavi was quite a defensive midfielder in his younger days. He could play the holding role.

This season Fabregas has been far superior to xavi, fact.

Only problem is, xavi and iniesta play best together.

No he hasn't, Xavi is widely regarded as the best midfielder in the world. Has been one of his finest seasons, he keeps Barcelona ticking over and although Messi gets most of the credit, he wouldn't be as good without Xavi behind him. Superb palyer, to say Fabregas has had a better season is biased bollocks and you know it.

Fabregas is a top class player, but not as good as Xavi and Iniesta.

I'd imagine that not playing in Spain makes it more difficult for a player like him to get noticed. The same is true over here - people don't take too much interest in leagues outside of your own.

Fabregas played well tonight when he came on.

Yeah, he was brilliant when he came on. The occasion didn't get to him.
