He thinks he is in the 1940's and the house is some great sruggle of opression. He has very warped views and this, "Every man for yourself" won't last long as all. Yeah, he played the bumbling idiot for a few weeks, lots of cuddles and kisses on the sofa. But now we can see he looks down on people is arrogant, ingnorant, socially unaware. Totally out for himself.
