Who actually cares if Ben's gay? Does it make any more difference whether he likes men. Why don't you all start making threads wondering if he likes toast? It's the same level of stupidity? If he says he isn't than as far as we know he is straight. Him and ONLY him knows his sexuality. Deal with it.

The people obsessed with Ben's sexuality are the ones with the confusion issues IMO. Would they give their friends and relatives the third degree about their sexuality? Why is it still such an issue in this day and age?

Like I said, I don't care where a man likes to stick his willy, assuming both parties are agreeable to it lol, but...
Playing devil's advocate, there is a strong argument that once a HM goes into that house everything they say, do, and are is open to scrutinisation and discussion. That they waiver any right to privacy or having any part of them 'off bounds'.
Should it be presented as a reason to hate him? No, of course not. I have never ever attacked him on his feyness or 'gayness', and I hate the scroat lol. (no, not really 'hate', before the more precious FMs start off.. 'hate' as in don't like and think he is a true knob).
But should it be an area thats off topic for conversation for forum members that like to speculate?
No, again, of course not.
A man being gay or not is hardly a point for much scandal these days, but a man who is maybe gay hiding the fact due to the fact that he dosent want to harm his career/ image? Very much so.
Of course that will interest some, we would be naive to think otherwise. It also could be argued that shutting down good natured debate over it is also wrong.
Just saying in order to balance things a little ;)

To me its quite funny, people are ttying to make as many anti Ben threads because they know he has a chance of winning, and the same 2/3 members are making the same threads hoping people will agree.
All we know here is that the more negative people get on forums about Ben, the more Ben supporters will keep him in.

Nothing good natured about it - malicious gossip more like! And what if he isn't gay - he may be mortified that people think he is! I'm sure he didn't go on the show to be accused of being gay, when he isn't! Mud has a nasty habit of sticking!
If he is - it isn't the god given right for members of the public to decide he should be ousted as they disapprove of his reasons for keeping it private! Certainly isn't their right to potentially ruin his life because he had the audacity to appear on a reality tv show!

Well, that is one way of looking at it lol, even if it is a trifle over wrought :joker:

I am sure he cant have lived the life he has without running into this situation, he will be fully aware the way he speaks, his mannerisms, bearing and deportment and his effete demeanor in general all raise questions about which side he bats for.
