It seems to be lost on most viewers but this is not a reality program that is only about what each individual does to entertain people.
SOME are 'one-man shows' who can be the sanguine personality who is, in themselves, the entertainment,
however,
too many don't understand how a social dynamic (and even an exciting and fascinating one) is that way by requiring several to be the 'anchor' and the 'father figure' or the 'common sense stake' of the group.
Steve is one of the important and necessary characters that not only allows the 'entertainers' to feel comfortable doing so,
but,
it is also what 'contrasts' the more extroverts and 'exciting ones' for you to measure them by.

Anyways, I like Steve, always have, hope he makes it to the final.
I'm not in love with him, not a 'fan maniac' but it was a great choice in casting and one of the things BB gets a lot of credit for too. A real person, a real guy, disabled, not a glamour model.
It made for a great season. Good for Steve.

Sorry that too many viewers don't appreciate this but one of the most difficult things anyone can do is stay cool in that house, separated from family, in a strange world of surveillance,
yet,
Steve has constantly stayed cool and confident and relaxed and been a 'father' to many there, a calming influence.

It's strange to me that more people don't see that as something to be commended and rewarded.
It's as good a reason to win BB as any other out there.

But hey.. i guess without trendy baseball caps and some childish showmance people don't see any other value but call it 'boring' and 'dull'.
