I think he speaks beautifully, actually. I like all accents, they're interesting and varied and make people more interesting. If everyone in the house spoke like Ben it would get wearing, but everyone has their own individual way of speaking which makes for a rich pattern.

I love Ben's accent - the ones in there doing my head in are the aussie's whinging whine, Corin's and Nathan's indecipherable northern accents and the worst of all Josie's Worzel Gummidge accent. Mario's pseudo american twang is irritating as is Ife's lapses into ghetto speak when she drops her guard.

I take it your a ben supporter then hehe. Just because you support one housemate, you do know you dont have to be so nasty to the rest of them? just saying because it makes you look very bitter and maybe stops others taking you at all seriously! :)

He has not got an accent, he is educated and talks what is termed the Queen's English. Shabby actually was well spoken too.
I love the way Ben talks at least you have no problem understanding what he says.
What a silly thing to hold the way someone talks against them,still it shows it is likely the only thing to justify commenting negatively towards him on which says everything about the people criticising Ben for that but nothing at all about Ben himself.
He's a good guy, who talks posh.so what!!

I absolutely love the way he speaks and could listen to him for ages. I would love to speak as well as Ben but unfortunately stopped my elocution lessons too early in my life, sorry now. Cannot understand a word Corin or Nathan say they really do murder the English language. The Aussie twang I find a little harsh but don't mind it too much and the best thing about Shabby was the way she spoke.
