Ah but not in the way they've bitched about him 24/7 behind his back, to his face, in the diary room, in the lounge, in the bedroom, in the kitchen, taking it in turns, sometimes in unison, pick, grind down, nag, demean, humiliate etc. If he's giving some back, good for him.
