...after watching him on LF, and he is actually already growing on me despite first impressions.

He isnt afraid of joining in, seems to get on with folks, and is geek (which I like) enough to be great TV.

Not 100% there yet, but the boy has potentiol :)

I tried to tell people this, you just can't judge by first impressions and I think he'll be a great HM.

Go join the Andrew fan club :p

I'm hoping what he lacks in social skills and eye candy he makes up for in sheer brilliant logic and when the HMs are in one of their argumentative phases he can step in like an intellectual superman and point out to each of them how fallacious their opinions are and why.

for some reason though I dont like but its just me but he looks like he might cause trouble in the future he did say last night on big brother he wanted to be friends with keeva(sorry cant spell her name properly) I dont think Andrew is showing his true and starting to get in the way of John James and Josie because Mario has started egging him on im sorry I dont care about Andrew

I hate how people join fan clubs for HMs they know for like a short period of time, like fair enough if you joined today and you have watched the LF and your confident you know enough about the person but its annoying when people have fan clubs at the ready the second someone enters.

How can you make a judgement either way? He's barely been in there 20 hours.

It takes two weeks for me. But with Scabby it was different. She's so fake and freakish, I couldn't help but loathe her.

I hated Shabby when she entered.. but that just proves you have to give everyone a chance. She became my favourite housemate the more I saw of her.

I agree, particularly on the geek bit.
As a colleague he would certainly be my choice out of the HMs.

Because that is what we do... we watch and give changing impressions as they develop.

Thats the nature of the show.

oh.. so.. right... how can I make a judgement from early impressions, but it's ok for you to? ;)

To examine the role of primacy in opinion forming, so that we may take something away from the 'social experiment' which is Big Brother, namely determination of whether our initial conceptions of a person accurately reflect their character over a longer timeframe?

Well Eugene did well and pocketed quite a tidy sum of money much to Anthony's annoyance. He was a late entrant.

He is devoted to mathematics which does not make him an alround intellect.
He may have opinions which are interesting but you do not have to brilliant for that.

I think he'll be good at sticking up for people, I imagine he'd be quite good dealing with two sides of an argument.

Looks like a nice guy (uh-oh dangerous words there).
