He (and Uruguay) was punished 3 times for the handball (penalty kick, red card and suspension). Time to let it go I think. :p

I agree, but I think it's about time they introduced the rule that any handball on the goal line leads to a sending off and the goal to stand. Think that's the best way to do it myself.

yeah i saw that! i dont even mind he did that and got penalized. Its an instinct. If you play football, and there is a scramble, the goal keeper goes off his line, you automatically try to do everything to prevent the ball going in. Knowing the punishment. But to gloat about it afterwards and stuff! What a tool! :mad: :mad:

Yeah that should be actually! Ive never thought about it like that, but it would make sense. A red card wouldnt even be necessary then. It could just be a yellow, and the goal stands.

They do it in other sports as far as I know - just let the goal stand. Don't know why they don't do the same in football when it was obviously going in.
