Not all black movie stars and singers wear weaves and if they do it's not because they hair is unruly. Sometimes/most times it's to protect the hair from constant blow drying, flat ironing. An example is Tyra banks. always wearing weaves but has a great head of hair underneath so your theory is pants.:blush: And my friend has a big afro, not unruly at all. I washed it for her the other day and had no problems.
I'll add Kourtney Kardashian has a weave too so fake hair is not exclusive to black people. Maybe her sisters have it too

She said she shaved her head because she didn't want to come into the house worrying about task, swimming etc. Which to me is better than wearing long expensive weaves and stressing over them getting old and tangled and having to avoid getting it wet etc.

Look at Sophie lost so much hair of her own hair and looked like a bald coot by trying to detangle it and keep it neat, Makosi went in with a huge afro and ended up with a brillo pad. Good for Ife not being so vain and willing to shave her hair knowing people don't find that look attractive in women.
