Well, another World Cup over and what have we learned from the whole experience? Poor officials, the absence of video technology, a widely criticized jubalani ball and still the increasingly common place play acting and nastiness. So yeah, what is to be done to the sport now that's it's quite obviously the laughing stock of the entire non-footballing world and ocassional viewer? Something's got to be done, right?

I've really enjoyed the World Cup. I don't think it's a laughing stock. :s

Ah James, there's been so many incidents though. Granted, they've hosted it so well but still, there's been at least three controversial decisions as well as that ball, don't you think?

I am glad it's over

Damn Vuvuzelas!

The final was terrible, after that game none of them would have deserved the cup, well let's hope for Euro 2012 - less noise, better referees (I hope) more fun

Where's it being held again? I have a feeling Ireland will qualify.

The only thing I've had a problem with is the style of play most teams had - no team has been a joy to watch other than Germany and Argentina.

I didn't really mind the vuvuzelas...they kind of become part of the furniture.

It was ok, but that's it. Definitely the worst World Cup I've watched, and it was the one I was most looking forward to aswell.

True, at last that made it a bit nicer to watch, to know that your own country played the most enjoyable football there

I have so many Polish friends that I worked with in pubs over here. I can't wait. It's going to be so good.

I didn't go, and I have relations there, just outside of Dortmund. I was an idiot!

realy a shame, it was awesome, ony bad thing is that I had to work so much because of that. So I was only watching 4 games live in the stadium, and was selling all the other tickets.
Would have been nice if I had have more free time then to see more games myself.

It was a decent world cup. I've seen worse. I don't suppose many of you remember the 1994 world cup. That was dire.

Problem is, these days its all about money. The new ball, the sponsorship deals etc. FIFA wants to line its pockets much more than they want a good fair World cup.

I'm surprised there hasnt been a bigger inquest into England performance TBH . This team of highly paid, lauded players failed to play as a unit in all four games. There are fndamental problems in this country and they need to be addressed before the 2010 Euros. The style of play, the lack of confidence in squad players. We've got real problems in this country.

I wish I had gone. Going to the Oktoberfest this year, definitely. Has to be done.
