I love it, it gives you the opportunity to vote out less interesting housemates (though the public rarely does so, only in case of Nathan :p)

I like it, it's a good way to prevent the more interesting HMs leaving early.

Sometimes it's really predictable who is gonna win, that is when it becomes boring. They should have a few nomination twists.

I think it kinda destroys the whole point of nominations. We learn who's put up then still cant judge until after the save task! Plus people are being evicted who weren't even nominated. Which just makes a mockery of the whole point of the nomination procedure.

YEP!....Iffy will thrash those two whimps!...And nom Dave!
And that will save 'that awful Quaver' again!!:bawling:
It was interesting for the first week...but soon got stale...it's time 'the ideas men ' earned their corn!!

There are more far more dull HMs left in there than the ones evicted.

I'm really worried that either Kweeva or Ife will win and pick someone who will be safer than Corin. I feel sorry for Corin, she's just a normal down to earth northern lass and just because she had a wee spat with JJ she's now the evil witch. I wish people would get over it and see that the real bitch in the house is Kweeva.

I'd love your confidence but...
Then I think of the kind of followers JJ has attracted. VERY SCARY.
I think even Enid would get on the phone for the mighty one.
Corin is his enemy and therefore a threat. Think boyband fans. Crazed.

Yes. JJ could go too as it would be a split vote. His dumb little girl followers would get confused about who to vote for strategically.

I don't know, only Steve and Ife spring to mind really. I think that the tasks have done more good then harm, Along with HOH in BB9 it's a good thing to adapt from the US series.

Yeah it is ridiculous, the love for him. Someone said in another thread that some people on DS voted for Nathan to go like 50 times
I mean, it can't be because of the showmance because that is going nowhere. Maybe they're just all blinded by his looks, who knows.

Absolutely not! But he is at least slightly more interesting than the neanderthal man, who's only contribution to BB was bangers and Mash and tell Shabby she was sad!

Hmmm, but now JJ is becoming more and more annoying by the day  Especially after lastnights dramatics.

If Corin wins then Caoimhe will be going home but I don't think it'll be Corin's end if Caoimhe wins. Corin's still a big favourite so I think Ife could be in trouble as it'll probably be Dave, Ife and Corin and I can't see people voting out Dave really especially as people have been wisening to Ife's game.

Me too.
Also the nomination process is supposed to be secret. How the hell can you penalise HMs for discussing nom's but yet at the same time let one person a week publicly show everyone who it is they are gunning for.

I'm still worrying a bit about Corin, because I am concerned that most of the people voting will be JJ fans who hate her. Even if only 100 of them vote, that could translate as 2000 votes. :bawling:
I hate multi-voting. Even when it is for someone I like, I get annoyed when people send me links to show how I can get around voting for them 50 times. I even voted for the opposition once, in protest. I can't imagine the phonebills some people must run up!

Unless they have money on it, don't really see why people would vote so much :S

Me neither! If there was money involved, that is different. I just can't be bothered. Why can't we just vote once for things these days? You have to vote 40 times just to compensate for other desperate fans? Too tiring! What next?

Yes, it allows for more manipulation from BB because they choose the competition and know the competitors. But they've been pretty fair thus far, and I think it's worth it for 2 reasons:
1. It forces a nominee to create an enemy, creating tension between groups. It's helped consistently every week.
2. HMs that don't ever get many nominations can FINALLY be evicted before finals, and if they keep S&R up I think we'll see one of the best groups at finals in years.
Kaaarenn!
12-07-2010, 08:40 PM
It's different and a good idea but I just hope that once someone saves themself they don't put anyone I like up, tht's what I don't like about it, the fact that someone you like might go up for eviction instead after thinking they were safe :S That's why I hope Corin doesn't save herself this week because she would probably put John up in her place. I don't think Corin would go anyways, I think either Ife or Keeva would depending on which one was still up for eviction at the end of the Save and Replace task.
I'd love your confidence but...

Why involve me in this? I've never voted, never will, no matter how much I love a HM.

Because youre a good example of somebody who wouldnt normally vote. But you seem to be entranced by him like others. I dont see why, frankly. I think you'd probably sacrifice Josie in favour of him. As many of her so called fans seem to be doing. But it seems to me she is the one thats more emotionally submissive here as she wants more than he's prepared to give. And that can send anybody a bit crazy with frustration.
In many ways he has ****ed her up, certainly in terms of winning.

Yes, I love JJ and I was absolutely crapping myself when he went up against Nathan. I still didn't vote. I stick to my guns.
As for Josie, she is great, but I didn't like the way she snapped at him last night when he totally gave himself to her and how she never takes him seriously. At this moment I'd love them to be joint winners.
