What did you do for your 18th/21st Birthday?

Usually considered the two main birthdays.... What did you do for yours? / What do you plan on doing for yours?


My 18th's next month, was gonna have a party but have decided that it'd just be a waste of money. So decided today that I wanna go on a road trip... None of us can drive so will probably just get coaches/trains (booked in advance so they're cheap :)) Couple of complications to still work around to get that plan going still though..

My birthday's on halloween so inevitably, my 18th was a proper horror-themed house party.

Haven't thought about my 21st, but my 19th is gonna have a Glam theme and be all GaGa/Bowie/GraceJones/AdamLambert inspired.

Mines not for another couple of years but I expect i'll go out somewhere like Alton Towers for the day and just make a real day of it.

For my 18th I had a party, where everyone bar from me and my pregnent friend got drunk... even my mum came home drunk :(

Lol, my mum always said 18th and 21st were the two big birthdays but once they're gone you should stop counting because you very quickly reach the numbers you don't wanna think of.

my best friend crashed in my house for about a month and during that it was my birthday
stayed up all night got crazy stoned and watched the hangover

18th had a meal out during day with parents and sis evening had a huge party
21st i was pregnant so didnt do much just had a takeaway with a couple of friends when i got home from work

my next big one is 30 *do not want* :( dunno what will be doing for it

For my 18th I was at a rave, got absolutely wasted :/ My 21st I went for a meal with about 10 mates and then went on to pubs and club and got wasted again lol. Good times :)

Not much for my 18th,just had a few friends over and dinner with my family. Although I went out with 3 different groups of friends in the next week after that as well. 21st is next year,I can't wait till my 20th next month,having a huge house party.

Done nothing really.

My ex had her 18th party the day after my birthday, so i just went to that as i knew most people and brought my friends to.

Then the day after i went to town with my cousin and his mates and a couple of other of my mates.

And went out to a family meal on the evening of my actual day.



For my 21st.. nothing, i had my car 1/2 bought parents gave me 3k toward my car so i wont be getting a whole lot, though they said because they gave my brother 5k they will give me 1.5k on my 21st birthday (they spent 500 on my insurance)

But generally ill do nothing maybe take a weekend and go somewhere with the girlfriend.

Edit - I don't like a fuss either and I am not big on surprises!! My sister as a surprise booked this big black disco bus!! lol actually that was a cool nice surprise!! lol but usually I don't like to be centre of attention. I have lack of confidence.

18th - I was asleep in bed by 10.30 cause my mates said they wouldnt go out....my sister let them in to the house they grabbed me and took me to there house and we had a huge BBQ/Party that lasted for a weekend.

21st -I went to a club then went on a train journey to see my mate and got ****faced in the middle of the country for a week.....
