I tend to download the episodes from TV Show websites, as it's much higher quality than streaming it online or watching it on YouTube. But this user (http://youtube.com/user/Quirkydude) has it.

And don't listen to Patrick, it's not OTT, it's completely different to BBUK in many ways. BBUK is a reality show, BBUS is a gameshow. BBUS's evictions/tasks/nominations/format are all completely different. You should give it a try, you might enjoy it.

1st season.. you've gotta watch some of the others, it's got nothing to do with time.
There in a shut-off house, I can't remember which seasons but there was a purple patch of like 3-4 seasons that were absolutely banging, but, they're always likely to be good, it's more about the infrastructure of the house, like HoH, Veto, Slop competitions etc..
..and they always have great twists...

Seriously though, there is a reason that BBUS is still going strong even as BBUK ends. BBUS is fun to watch (not the episodes - I only watch for competitions and evictions, because everything else is even more heavily edited than BBUK HLs) but LIVE FEED. Oh my lord US LF is 10x better than UK, and I've watched plenty of both. Here's why:

1. The whole house is NEVER on food restriction. It's usually 4 people max, and the rest of the house don't have to bother with a shopping list - they just get all their food needs taken care of by BB, who continually restocks the store room so they can eat well and enjoy themselves.

2. They get LOTS of alcohol, just given to them by BB. So they're frequently buzzed or drunk, and that starts a lot of good fights and/or entertaining sequences.

3. They actually have meaningful things to talk about on LF - i.e. strategy/game. In the UK housemates can't talk noms, so all they do is chatter away about boring, meaningless stuff. In the US, there is constantly a lot of interesting game talk and covert strategizing that actually affects the game - thus LF is rewarding to watch.

4. And finally, we always have 4 cams to choose from so we can decide whom we're watching and when we're watching them. In the UK you just have to live with the angle and sound given to you, while in BB they actually have a few producers on hand at all times to handle changing camera angles, sound mixing, etc. so watching LF has the same quality as watching TV.

I've just re-watched season 7 AllStars, (chilltown and operation double date RAWK).
I love Rachel, Enzo, Matt and Britney so far.

BBUSA is (in my opinion) better than BBUK. The tasks are so much funner, the housemates get more involved within the game, the arguments, showmances etc are really entertaining and it has the best pieces of back-stabbing and bitching anybody wants to see. The season has gone of to a great start, i'm loving the saboteur idea, it's really working well. I love Annie and Brittney, but i'm starting to dislike Kathy and Enzo and his 'alliance' which will obviously not last very long, it's starting to remind me of Kail's early alliance which failed epically. If anybody wants to watch a past series of Big Brother I reccommend Season 6 or Season 11. kthanksbye!

Aww, Brian, If he hadn't tried to play the game so hard so fast in week one, he might of had a chance of winning, he seemed clued up on the game just got stuck in a web really. I'd love Brian back for another season.

They did the first series and it failed epically, so they created a new format and now it's ratings gold.

The traditional rules worked out so well for them didn't it? Ratings fell so much when the public voted out the interesting people, they tried to get one of the boring people to leave with bate money in $50,000 to replace with a opinionated bitch but noone would leave and ratings continued to fall which is why they brought on Alison Grodner who made the new rules (HOH, POV) and its generally been more successful (Bar S9 here).
I'm glad US don't follow the Traditional rules, Public voting always gets rid of the great ones early on and your left with uninspiring bores.
The Only Big Brother i follow now is the US version and If i had to choose between our version which i don't like whatsoever anymore or the US version, US version would win HANDS DOWN.

I wasnt saying that the traditional rules worked real well for them for the first series. It was a new show everywhere back then & only the states dropped the traditional rules after one go @ it. I think if cbs gave it another go for series two it might have picked up a bit. But I guess they didnt want to chance @ a another flop. So now instead of cbs complaining about the shows hm...boredom alot of the viewers are. If you look over on the official cbs forums youd see what Im talking about. Im not to thrilled about the uk version right now and havent been for the past few series. Which is why Ive tuned into Germany. The main problem I have with the US version is that the 3 shows a week are edited so much that you cant have a proper opinion about most of the HMs unless you either watch the live feed or after dark. About it being "Ratings gold" I really wouldnt know the past series cause I gave up watching it after the 2nd one. & started back up last year. I do know that if a repetitive game show (Wipeout) can beat Big Brother in the ratings on Eviction nights then something must be wrong

Yes they are very quick at uploading episodes, they are usually up just hours after being shown on air, same with The Amazing Race.

I wouldn't watch Heroes Vs Villains (S20) or any All-Star version before watching a normal season first. It'll be harder to get into and they empathise more on the returning castaways.

Erm.... S7, 10, 15 and 17 were particularly good, good picks for first timers.

Definitely watch Heros vs Villains because IMO it's one of the best seasons ever.

Season 18 is also one of my favorites. It's Survivor: Tocantins.

I'd say these are the best:

Season 2, Australian Outback
Season 6, The Amazon
Season 10, Palau
Season 11, Guatemala (because the location was very cool. it was right on a like mayan temple)
Season 15, China
Season 16, Micronesia
Survivor 18, Tocantins
Survivor 20, Heros vs Villains

Samoa is also an interesting season because of Russell.

I would avoid Fiji and Vanuatu as those are the two most boring seasons. But besides those two, all seasons are good.
