The smug look on his face while arguing with Keeley and saying
"Your sitting under my...??" what did he say?
And then pulling faces when she spoke, and at least she asked what his problem was, calling her Poison Ivy and then flirting with her, benchpressing her etc....
It's all very confusing. :conf:

what happened is that BB decided to not use the story until it was too late and had grown too big to ignore. They were then forced to shoehorn it in without any history or backstory as to how we got to this point.
It's happened so much this series... it's really bad editing and story telling on their part tbh. They could have easily been showing this all to dilute the recent JJJ overdose.
anyone who watches LF and is half switched on has been seeing this build. People who just watch the LF must have been just left standing asking wtf happened.

He's trying to counteract his own behaviour; fingering her with one hand and giving her the finger with the other. Metaphorically speaking.

At least he is doing something to warrant the air time, rightly or wrongly!

Good call and well explained!
I tend to praise BBUK for decent editing (compare to the contrived USA or other Reality Telly),
but,
yes, this time they are being very weird with Steve's editing. There was much more 'build up' and story behind it all,
yet,
as we see here - by 'shoehorning' it into the mix it appears 'awkward' and inexplicable IF you just saw the HLs
I also noticed this with the 'Perv Steve' editing which has certainly worked well to get the big teenage girl demo worked up here,
but,
I noticed the full ongoing dynamic was far more 'give and take' and was building up and into off-colour joking or sexual inuendos,
yet,
that 'shoehorned' editing had Steve appear to just come out of nowhere (or having just squabbled with her) to dropping a sexual innuendo at her,
or,
suddenly (it appears) he is wrestling with her.
The editing made it 'appear' that he just dropped these at completely surprising and inappropriate and awkward moments.
Anyways.. I'm not even trying to make some big defense of Steve or being a big Steve fan,
but,
you are correct that the strange editing did him no service and has led to confused viewers I think.

He made himself look like a bit of a chump last night - twice in two days on the HL's isn't good.

that sums it up very well nice post.
but on the balance of things any sane adult can see that they pick one villain per week and if this is steves week over then bah it hasnt been so bad :spin:
the teeny haters will swallow everything they are told to hate next week as well whoever it might be.
i find it incredible that people lurch from week to week hating whoever gets the bad edit that week but i guess thats how some peoples brains work :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

Great point and observation.
It has been this way for (feels like since the beginning) where each HM gets a turn having their 'villainous' edit week or at least a day or two. It feels like they will jack it up more for HMs deemed dull or uninteresting.
Teens or newer/casual viewers do seem to fall for this every time.
