Does anyone remember that?  MOst people remember the beat and the chorus!  I mean even if she meant the rest of the lyrics, she could specify that, because the title of the song is Waka Waka!
I think its pretty underhanded.    Straight up lie.

She said the idea for the lyrics of the verses came to her on a walk, seems pretty clear to me. Since Wakka Wakka is apparently a well known song in Africa she's not gonna get away with saying it's hers now is she?
She was obviously talking about the english lyrics and such, It's pretty common to remake old songs into World Cup songs.
I don't see how she's so underhanded really, you're reading too much into it.
