It's common for a lot of grown women to act cutesy and childish in the belief if they behave like men want them to, they can get what they want. Marilyn Monroe acted like that both in film and in reality, and... (*shudders*) Nikki Grahame is a very OTT example

Saw Caoimhe doing it as a joke yesterday to Josie. But have never ever seen Ife do it! Also Josie sucks her thumb you can tell by the her way her teeth looks.
It is an awful habit for someone her age and I think she is 100% aware of what she is doing and the reasons behind why she does it.

Not at all, my daughter still sucks her thumb, the only person really concerned about her teeth positioning is her orthodontist

Its a comfort thing, my sister sucked her thumb until she was in her 20s. Her top teeth pushed forward slightly because of it but it looks really attractive on her.

I find it no more annoying and much more attractive than people who bite their nails which is a horrible habit.

There are many reasons why an adult would continue to suck their thumb. It could be a comfort thing like Linus van Pelts security blanket....or it could be due to a stereotypic movement disorder.
