Why is Keeley lying about being a business woman?

In Keeley's VT she said she owns a string of Travel agencies and she has talked to several housemates about her business interests and that she is a successful business woman, but she is lying! She is just someone who works in a travel agency booking people's holidays. Why does Keeley feel the need to lie and make out she is someone she's not? What an egotistical nobody.
