Sgt. Peppers. I'm not counting Magical Mystery Tour what with all the confusion/transatlantic differences/the songs being found elsewhere/it being a soundtrack.

Revolver for me

yeah I was going to leave out MMT, Help! and YS since they're soundtracks but meh...

For me it's between Abbey Road, Rubber Soul and Sgt Pepper's. I like the psychedelia of Sgt, the number of sheer tuuuunes on AR and RS' laidback vibe.

I'll pick RS because of In My Life. But it's probably SPLHCB.

Abbey Road for me, then SGT Peppers... although i'll listen to any album on repeat....

I went for MMT seeing as it was on the poll. As far as single songs go it's most of my favourites of theirs on the one album.

Love's got some great stuff on it and it works very well for what it is meant to be, the 'love' tag just entails various varied forms of remixing/re-working the tracks by updating the audio/merging it with live performance and that sort of thing.

But I have no idea how you could consider it the best Beatles album. It's not one of the cannonical albums. It's main target audience was youngsters and those yet to get into The Beatles [Read : Baby stealing, serial rapist counts of the netherworld].

Shaun you can't ask questions like that !!!!! Why are you doing this ?:tongue:

It's hard to choose but I think I will go for Abbey Road. It's pure magic. The Beatles are magic.

Yoko ain't part of the Love Music project.

It is in a Normal CD as well
with this Exclusive Mixing it is like nothing before it.

The Love mixes are special
like no other re-arranged into 5.1
George Martin and his son worked on it.

Until you hear this in 5.1
then you are at a lower level of music quality.

A Real Beatles Fan has the Love CD
or the 5.1 Disc and CD.

Utter Fact.

I still, haven't changed my mind about Revolver but I'm tempted to say Beatles for Sale is their second best. One of their strongest sets of songs.

Are you serious about that? Do you know the album is a set of songs rejected from the recording sessions of Sgt Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour with the title song "Yellow Submarine" (originally released on Revolver) tacked on?

all of them are great actually

Shaun

I love all of them bar Beatles for Sale (really just blends into one repetitive song, for me) and the film soundtracks are pretty dodgy.

I can't say I feel that way about any Beatles album, although I can easily imagine that being the case with their first couple of albums, which I haven't heard.

Yeah Yellow Submarine is dodgy, but I loved Help.
