Right, I've seen people use the bully word in this forum about certain housemates. Nobody in that house is a bully.

No one is a bully.... you are right. Some people love using that word cos they know it winds people up an thay think thats the biggest insult.

I just ignore it.Its like people who get aggressive and spiteful.... its just a lack of culture and inability to debate decently...

Just to clarify, I do not like John James.

If you say so.

Doesn't alter the fact that JJ engages in verbal bullying at every opportunity, usually with women or those he perceives as easy targets or weaker than him. That fact alone is significant because bullies never pick on those that fight back.

Look how he caved into a quivering, self pitying mess when Josie called him on his behaviour. That is a typical bully's reaction to being challenged on their behaviour.

So if the word "bully" is bandied about, its because that is how his behaviour is perceived, and we're not just talking about Ben here. His behaviour towards Rachael in particular was despicable - but no doubt he gets off on reducing women to tears.

Bullies hate being exposed - and will deny it till the cows come home! And some people simply refuse to see it in others, especially if it is a hm they like, afterall, what does that say about themselves, if they like a bully?

I thought Josie's treatment of Dave the other day was definitely "bullying" behaviour.

It's a lack of vocabulary and an cheap easy shot at calling someone they don't like.

To bully is to continually harass, undermine, and target specific individual[s]. I don't think JJ is doing that. I just reckon his a bit of an angsty dick.

The insinuation being that anyone who disagrees with you on a housemate is a bully themselves?

Christ almighty. Usual lowness.

Usual twist on words then! No I did not insinuate that anyone who disagrees with me on a hm is a bully - I simply said people will often choose not to see if their fav hm is being accused of bullying - as it doesn't look good to defend a bully!

I think thats what he did to Rachael. He was somewhat obsessed with her. Even for weeks afterwards. Determined to have a bitchfight with her and made her uncomfortable.

No twisting words. This is what you posted :

Of course you will deny it, but you can't blame 8 out of 10 cats for thinking that is a cheap, dirty insinutation.

Can you, now?

Kinda like Rachael could be seen in the same light to have obsessed with Sunshine? Or any of Rachael's posse for that matter? They, as a group, certainly seemed to talk about people a lot more or at least on par with the amount JJ harped on about Rachael.

Just insecure bitches, the lot of them.

That was not what I posted - just your 'interpretation' of what I said! But of course, Stu is never wrong!

As usual, you think you speak for 8 out of 10 people on this forum - and, as you make plenty of cheap, dirty insinuations yourself - hardly a surprise that you see that!

Yes it is what you posted. I took a direct quote from your post. As for my interpretation ... it's hardly surprising, is it? Are you really that blind to it? Are you completely refusing to admit how that could be seen as pretty direct insinuation?

Why are you once again reverting it back to who I am? Are you totally incapable of arguing a point for more than two posts without resorting to going into the psyche of who I am as a poster?

Once again :

what does that say about themselves, if they like a bully?
Call me crazy ... but that could be interpreted as something sinister.

Again, call me a crazy old conspiracy theorist ... but ... you know ...

No, just enlarging the text for your pleasure, considering you thought I made the quote up the first time around.

But hey, aren't you just totally immune to anything anyone points out to you. I'm guessing you are secretly admitting to yourself that it could have very, very, very easily been read as insinuating something.

Heck it is an insinuation. It's pretty black and white, now that I think about it in greater detail. 'What does that say about them?' is an insinuation.

Exactly how does "what does that say about themselves, if they like a bully?" in the context of the whole sentence - imply that I think that everyone that disagrees with me on a hm is a bully! Please eleborate!

What is actually means - is that anyone who openly admits that the hm they like is a bully but still likes and supports them anyway - could be accused of doing so because they don't see that type of behaviour as bullying as they may also participate in that type of behaviour themselves sometimes and, therefore, may also be perceived as a bully - and that their fear of being thus accused may be why they refuse to see the hms behaviour as bullying!

As I said - your twisted, interpretation - you crazy, old conspiracy theorist!

Stu

I didn't twist anything. It was a very ambiguous statement that very easily could have been interpreted my way. Your refusal to at least admit this speaks volumes. Read it for christ sake. You can't blame anyone for coming to the conclusions I did.

In fact, I still think that was your original intention and that you are now simply backtracking.

Sounds familiar, don't it?

JJ is a bully, look it up in the dictionary,or shall I do it for you.

Bullying is a form of abuse. It comprises repeated acts over time that involves a real or perceived imbalance of power with the more powerful individual or group abusing those who are less powerful.[2] The power imbalance may be social power and/or physical power. The victim of bullying is sometimes referred to as a target.

Remind you of anyone?

Bullying is an act of repeated aggressive behavior in order to intentionally hurt another person, physically or mentally. Bullying is characterised by an individual behaving in a certain way to gain power over another person.

Does that appear to be like the behaviour of anyone in the house...repeated aggressive behaviour..who has ned kelly not been aggressive to?
