It's a great series with a sound mix of housemates, I'm enjoying this show immensely.

I think some should quit watching before they have a nervous breakdown.

Yeah, it has crossed my mind so i put yes.

Having LF this year has really reminded me on how much BB takes us for morons in their edit andHLs and is really gettig in my way of enjoying the whole thing if I am honest.

You're so disillusioned you're about to turn off... yet you still find it interesting enough to comment endlessly about it on a BB forum. There must be something there that's holding your attention.

I'm gonna stick with it. Even if it goes catastrophically wrong and all my favourites go out one by one, I don't care. This is the last ever series, why bail out just before the finish line?

Same with me.

I think if this series wasn't soo good I'd be focusing a lot on missing the show dispite it still being on. But because of the characters in the house and the tasks, plus this forum, it does seem like a celebration of BB.

Sticking to the bitter end.

Turned off many times due to either crap BB censoring, boring E4 live feed, or simply something way better worth watching on the other channel. I always turn back on the next day for a quick nosey or whatever tho.

agreed. I think its one of the best mixes ever and that is the main thing I am interested in.
The tasks come a distant second for me but those have been quite good this year.
I'd rather have a bit more of a 'classic BB house' but then again I like some things in this house design too.

But the great mix of HMs is the big win imo

I think some should quit watching before they have a nervous breakdown.

Some experience with this. For me the most frustrating thing was seeing a potentially great season being ruined with this idiotic Shabby Stunt. I understand the lark was to deliberately put in a hacky loud attention ***** type HM,
but,
It backfired on the Producers and then the HMs and then the audience and I was watching a great season getting ruined.
So, I just had no choice but to stop watching entirely. I missed not only the last 2 weeks of the Shabby mistake but even waited a few days until it was cleared away.

The good thing is that it kept it from ruining the season for me and when I came back to the program there was a great mix all doing their thing and back to interacting and getting started again.

At this time I don't see where we have any Shabby-problem again basically its now moving along natural social dynamics,
but,
if the OP feels someone is ruining it for them maybe just take a break for 2 weeks or so.

If Corin went last night I could seriously drift away. It would have been too clear that the JJ fanbase was controlling the outcomes. Unbearable.

Plus Im liking Andrew and just LOVE the idea of him beating JJ to win the series! He's pretty cheeky and confident for his age and nerdiness.

I'd watch it whatever happened. Already Shabby, Rachael and Govan have gone fairly early on, and they were my 3 favourites but I've still watched till now, and will continue to until the end.

I don't watch it to "love" or "hate" any of them, my only hope is that they entertain me in some way. and this lot certainly do that.

for the past 10 years my mind has subconciously been programmed to tune in to big brother during the summer no matter what so for that reason i'll watch till the end. But for me it hasn't been the best but then again everything has a point when it has too come to an end and bb has reached it. :( maybe if they messed with it less and just let things happen naturally it might've been alright for another 10 yrs. they went controlling crazy after bb3

I find it's stacks better then most recent series mainly because the HM's by large are all well rounded and interesting individuals who don't really feel like one sided characters like HM's from BB10 for example. The tasks also have been a triumph and have really added a lot of fun to the HL shows.

I think if you liked the earlier series you'll like this one as it's got a more normal cast then say the likes of BB7(althoughI loved that series)-BB10 that depended on gimmicky freaks really.

It's the best series in years so I'm gonna stick with it.

I wouldn't say that. BB2 and BB5 were far more superior. As was last year's.

This year's is a bit like BB4. Very safe, although the housemates are a bit more interesting. What I can't abide is the constant love-ins....

Dave telling Ben how much he loves him, and vice versa. All this about 'you're my friend' is extremely tiresome. I also thought the new housemates were safe too, and Andrew in particularly very boring...:sleep:

I agree, I think they let the power of Big Brother go to their heads.

18-07-2010, 01:50 PM
I don't know. There are quite a few more good characters in there than there usually is at this point but I feel like there's not much fun in the house. It doesn't feel like we know them all yet, only Josie, John James and Ben to be honest. And the tasks this year have been possibly the worst ever, there hasn't been a single memorable one except maybe the Super Hero one, that was good.

Only if JJ is still 1 of the favourites to win, when all he has done so far is pick on the likes of Ben, Corin, Rachael, Sunshine and Iffy, and bitched and moaned about nearly all of the hms behind their backs. Then people still let that go and keep him in coz of his looks, and a person shouldn't win because of that. He's a nasty piece of work along with Caoimthe and yet when they have both been up for eviction, and have both escaped and the wrong person has left each time, it's getting really stupid now.

Loving Ben, Corin, Josie, Mario, Steve, and the 3 new uns.

The longer the "playground romance" is perpetuated, the sooner I'm giving up ..... the way it's going, that could be today - can't these people talk about anything but "who fancies who" or "who's gone off somebody" ..... it's pointless and boring ..... :bored:

Kaaarenn!
18-07-2010, 02:22 PM
I'm going to stick with watching it, I don't think it's rubbish or anything. I don't want it to end! Haha
Don't think there's much point in watching the first month and then not watching the rest because you would still probably want to know who was evicted each week and who won anyway lol ... I would anyway
