why do the housemates always talk about these same things

they talk about others in the house
they talk about themselves and how they are in the house or how they have been in the house
they talk about BB and what will happen next in the house
etc etc etc
as JJ would say "I dan givva fack"

it gets so boring to watch

in previous series they used to talk about outside interests like music or films or interesting stories etc and it was interesting to listen to them and very funny at times

are these HMs just too stupid and/or very boring people?

agreed, the past three years they always seem to guess the twist before it happens, which takes the edge off it and doesnt seem much point, whether thats just because they guess every possible situation so there bound to be right eventually,or that bb are just getting to damn predictable i dunno, but if more was happening in the house i suppose they wouldnt be so damn boring,so i blame bb's lack of imagination or real **** execution of task's at the very least

At least some of them are still up, it would be even more boring listening to Steves snoring on the live feed.

Yeah, most of them - to give him his due, Ben's tried to raise the level of conversation, but the likes of Steve, Corin, JJ, Josie, Keeva and Rachel have neither the intellectual capacity nor the inclination to involve themselves in intelligent discussion - they're very, very dim and very, very dull ..... :(

see even that year they had more going on,they split the house down the middle, they reprimanded spencer but not so much that he stopped being him.

is it just because of all the controversies over the past few years that they have toned things down?or is everything just too tired and not creative.. whats happening after this year anyway is sky taking over or is uk bb dead?

Since BB6, any "sense of humour" has been seriously missing .....

Although BB5 has been "blighted" by the legendary "Fight Night", there were many "episodes" of unadulterated fun, including the mythical "Tale of Stuart's Ring", which had FMs and viewers alike "clutching their sides" .....

agreed, forgive me as im not too clued up on each series but whichever one had maxwell and anthony how epic was that, not just the task's like the pirate task but the characters, derek, science, kamal and makosi, anthony maxwell craig and that spanish dude.. i'd kill for a science or maxwell in this years bb..

edit: and epic moments, craig and anthony little stalkerish love thing, kinga and her love for wine bottles.. damn i the old big brothers owned the past few years,(although the year with rex in was pretty decent)

they did everything in their power to have conroversial bb's in the past,,,a few bad headlines and bb have **** themselves,,,,since bb6 its been watered down every year to a boring final show,,,bb should go out with a bang

JJ is in no way a womaniser, he has less sexual drive than a nun
plus he said last night he didnt like that about nathan, who clearly is a womaniser

nothing wrong with womanising anyway

It's interesting how JJ's lack of sex drive (possible asexuality), sensitivity to the smallest criticisms and deep-rooted misogyny fit the personality profile of a cerebral narcissist so perfectly. I'm no psychologist, but it all seems to add up.

That's why he's fantastic. In BB good-looking and male is almost synonymous with uninteresting. Regardless of the diagnosis, JJ has some funny stuff going on in his brain and it's fun to watch. :elephant:

Being cooked up with other people with no external stimulus isn't conducive to good conversation.
It's like being offshore but without a job to keep busy with for 15 hours a day, newspapers, satellite telvision, radio, gym, sauna, cinema, Internet, library.

that could be true for some people

but being without all the things you mentioned could also encourage some other people to talk more than they normally would in RL

I have noticed that on BBUS, the conversations are much more interesting and engaging. They talk about sex ALOT too hah.

Whenever I watch the BBUK feed I usually get bored because it's mostly someone bitching or talking about themselves.

so BB *******ed up royal this year

not only did they pick dumb HMs who dont speak about anything interesting and couldnt even if they wanted to

but they also picked boring HMs who are not entertaining to watch either
no having crazy fun, no massive rows or fights, no sex, just no

Well, why not invent the news and discuss that ?

What a good idea. BB could give them a newspaper to read (fake one of course) and have them each discuss a different topic from the newspaper. Would be very interesting to hear what each of them finds interesting enough to discuss.

this reminded me of One Flew Over Cuckoo's Nest, where Jack Nicholson pretends he watching world series :joker:
