Ive not long had my laptop on this morning, and it was working all hunky dory until I left it running for about half an hour to watch TV and came back to the cursor jittering about when I contol it using the touchpad.

I removed the charger (its a universal charger which didnt come with the laptop, the previous one that did broke) which has to constantly be plugged in because my battery does not hold its charge, and found out that it is the cause for some reason; the cursor doesnt jump about when I control it with the touchpad with the charger not plugged in.

Im currently using a wireless mouse, but was wondering if anybody had any suggestions to what the hell is wrong? It was working fine before...

Maybe its just another fault to add to the list. :(

Thanks! (I keep going to use the touchpad instead of the wireless mouse, grrr )

I think the touchpad becomes over-sensitive with the charger in, if I just hover my finger over it I have better control than when my finger is actually in contact :S

Go into settings on your control panel?

Had a nose at that, doesnt seem to be anything there which could sort it out, I think its just generally caput. Thanks though!
