Our Big Brother is popular in Turkey... (funny story)

My sister came back from 2 weeks in Marmaris today and said last Friday there was a huge Big Brother themed night at a bar where the barmen were dressed as cameras and microphones and the cocktails were named "Caoimhe's Diva", "Shot of Shabby" and "Ben Ten" (etc etc).

The eviction was broadcast on a huge TV and watched by the packed-out bar full of both holiday-makers and Turkish natives and she said how the reactions to the eviction announcement were as if there was a football match being screened and a goal was scored.

She also said how the bar BOO'D Ife as it showed her leaving the house.

Bit random but I thought it'd be funny to share!! :hugesmile:

LOL yeah it was like this when i was in turkey during BB7 i think. They used to show it in the bars on the big screen like every night :D

What a surreal sort of thing to find when in a foreign country lol.. actually sounds like that is probably far more exciting and fun than most places IN the UK heh
