Did anyone see Ben on "Ladette to Lady" last night? He popped up as one of the group of aristocrats wheeled in to help the ladettes learn some manners.
Apparently he's also appeared in "American Princess" as well, part of the same franchise. Maybe he's got an extras card from Equity, under the category of generic posh boy.
There's an online video somewhere of him interviewing Leslie Phillips, who can barely get a word in as Ben drones on.
He says he wants to be a TV presenter - it won't help his credibillity if he keeps showing up in random background shots, like the person at outside broadcasts behind the reporter, waving to mum.

Despite my absolute despising of the use of BB to fast track media careers, Ben actually appears to be a very competent presenter, his bumbling toff exterior gives ways to professionalism. Certainly not one of the HMs could have carried off the "Master of Ceremonies" role as well as he did on Ben day.
Here's a screen cap I took the last time this Ladette to Lady thing came up.

Simon Cowell's first TV appearance was on Sale of the Century. Amanda Holden's first appearance was as a contestant on Blind Date. Anything he does in front of the camera will look on his CV like he's prepared to have a crack at anything.

He's also been on loads of reality TV shows including Celebrity Dine with Me and some American courtroom series about sex(shock/horror), and has never made any secret of it! Seems he makes a good living as he gets loads of work off the back of it. So his haters can just suck it up!
Of course all the other HMs are only in it for the experience aren't they?:bored: Just watch JJ,Mario, Corin, Keeley, and Rachel strip off for the mags when they leave; Unfortunately for Josie, I can't see Nuts ringing her up anytime soon, so all she has going for her is the fauxmance which no doubt JJ and her will keep up for a while on the outside to milk it for as much money as possible, and to keep their silly little teenybopper fans happy.
Dave will have achieved his goal of raising awareness for his cult, and Steve will have achieved his goal of raising awareness for injured servicemen.
Probably the only one in there who can truly say he is there just for the experience, is Andrew.

This.
Although, isn't Andrew's agenda raising awareness for ginger, maths geeks with no girlfriends? :joker:

Good for him. Most of the HM's are media *****s. Atleast he's upfront about it.

Yet here we all are, watching the show, arguing and debating about the HMs, psychoanalysing them, being entertained/infuriated/repulsed/seduced by them etc etc..
By the time the show is over they will have earned their 15 mins of fame, I have no problem really with any of them milking it for all its worth while it lasts. The only thing that ticks me off are the ones that pretend NOT to be wannabes, when they so blatantly ARE. At least Ben makes absolutely no pretence about his aspirations when he leaves.

All of them this year seem to have media or TV connections. Look at Mario, Shabby and Ife. These aren't just normal everyday people.
