Perhaps the HL show threads should be baned because they fill up the available bandwith with rubbish, nobody engages in discourse, it's like the first day of the January sales at Harrods.

The frenetic posting has stopped for now and the forum works again.

It really isn't good enough! The system isn't up to the job - it is happening a lot now - sometimes during the day as well! I thought it had been upgraded not long ago - but it doesn't seem to of made much difference!

Making another thread doesn't help. I'm sure they know what is going on.

It is happening every night at HL show time, some nights I haven't even been able to log back in after losing patience with the non updating of pages.

Why they post to that HL thread escapes me because no one has time to read them before they are relegated to the previous page.

I've turned off avatars and guest viewing of threads for now. That should help.

when I pressd the reply button, I had a whole can of lager, I now have a half can. I had time to consider going to a hooker, or to slit my wrists. But I've no money.

I'm not going to slit my wrists. I'll just take a sleeping tab instead. (Unless anyone in the Dublin area is horny, and can sub me a taxi fare).

I've turned off ... guest viewing of threads for now. That should help.

Well that's gonna make no-one wanna sign up.

I think the servers should be upgraded. Either that or TiBB should move to a free forum software (which wouldn't be bad).
