Would you have carried on if someone had fallen over?

lmao no I wouldn't, but in her defence she only thought she'd sprained it and I respect her determination to stay in the house

Yes, I probably would have done. As it's a game I would have first thought Keeley was bluffing. Of course she wasn't and I would have had to stop for fear of looking like an ignorant fool taking advantage of the situation.

This happens in sport all the time, when a player goes down, some other players carry on without giving a thought to the injured player. It's only minutes later when you see they are not getting back up, that you actually slow down the game and stop altogether.

Corin looked harsh during this scene, and I can see how both sides reacted.

no, its only a game show, people's health and well being are far more important

Very true, but in that split second, who knows how someone would really react to the situation. It's not until you realise how serious it is, that you react accordingly.

It is a game show, and some housemates will see the S&R task as a survival of the fittest, however right or wrong that is.

Yes as it's easy with hindsight to say otherwise but in that moment in a task when you are fired up as Corin was you are just out to win.

I would check if they were seriously hurt or not, if so I would stop, if not (or appeared not - we all thought Keeley only sprained her ankle rather than fracturing it) Id then carry on, there were about 8 other housemates at her demand who are safe, they wouldnt need me too and Id need to try save my ass.

Someone could fall over and not be hurt, it may have even just been cramp, it was likely that daft BB could have done some punishment for not carrying on, BB should ahve the instant Keeley fell over, they should ahve called a stop to the task immediately as it was the other housemates were with Keely a fitr time before BB even announced bring her to the diary room so initially BB didnt think anything of it either. So YES, had I decided to do the rediculous and daft task in the first place I would have continued until told to stop, but I think I would have refised to do the save and replace tasks anyway, having already nominated I wouldnt then want to put someone up who maybe got no nominations, the whole save and replace tasks has spoiled BB this time and made a farce of the nomination process.

No. What would be the point because even if I did get out first then it would be obvious because the person that got injuried wouldn't have been able to carry on obviously so it wouldn't be fair.

well I dislike Corin and I would have stopped (eventhough I accidently voted yes) but I have to be honest here and say that she's not an evil bitch from hell just cos she carried on. She didn't think she was injured that badly, I mean Keeley herself said it's just a sprain and Rachel completely over reacted, I mean who the ***** cries when some one hurts their ankle??? First off she only met her a few days ago so she hardly knows the girl and even if they'd known her years it would be a bit weird to cry

Yes, but at the same time no one knew the severity of the injury at the start.

but surely it would be a natural reaction to just stop when everyone else had stopped. She made a concious decision to carry on, it had nothing to do with how bad the injury was but more to do with how desperate she is to stay in the house..she over hyped herself up at the start. I just thought she made the wrong decision and it will come back to haunt her..I can see her being up every week from now.Buty hey ho, for the first time this series I laughed at corin. But lets face facts, she could have carried on for another week and still never made it up.

haha yeah she should have stopped definitely but its only a minor thing lets be honest, all she could have done is joined the circle around Keeley and looked at her ankle. As I said I really am not a fan of hers at all but this week I've seen her go against the grain of the house when it did make a difference to someone, when she sat and spoke to Caoimhe and tried to help her with her decision, I had a lot of respect for her for doing that when Josie had basically made an out cast of Caoimhe and Corin could have easily joined in with that as her and Caoimhe didn't even get on so well.

it was a bit silly as she was only competing against herself: only she could win at that point!!

But she also doesn't understand exactly what a sprained ankle is - where one or more of the ligaments are torn: and can take just as long to heal as a break can

http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/diseases/facts/sprainedankle.htm

long after keely went to hospital, Corin was dismissing it as "just a sprain"

It will be interesting to see her reaction to Keely and the injury - assming she returns

I clicked yes cos' basically the objective of the task would make me expect to see people falling over and expect to perhaps fall/slip about a bit myself.

Said person starts sayin' that they think they've seriously hurt their ankle, if I felt they were being serious, I'd stop and try to help them.

depends who had fallen, if it was someone like scab or chema i would propably have jumped on their ankle by 'accident' and made sure it was snapped before carrying on.

No definitely not. I'd have stopped to see if the other person was alright.

Also the fact that Rachel stopped... she should have.
