Why all the name changes going into house?

Im just looking at the 80 potential housemates and alot of the already housemates names are different

Sunshine= Iyvette (I understand she calls herself sunshine)
Shabby= Keeley
Ife= Gloria (dont understand that at all)

Sunshine - self-explanatory

Shabby - just a nickname she prefers because her friends say she "looks like sh!te" (even KAtchadourian isn't her ream surname).

Gloria - the name her adopted parenst gave her? Ife I think is her birth-name from her African parents who gave her up for adoption.
